Velador Doubles Through Fuchs

Big O

Three ways on a flop of 476, Tyler Mitchell checked in the small blind, Carol Fuchs checked in the cutoff, and Julian Velador checked behind on the button.

Mitchell checked again on the J turn and Fuchs bet 3,000. Velador then shoved for 13,300 total, which got a fold from Mitchell, but a call from Fuchs to to put Velador at risk.

Veldaor was ahead with his straight, and the A river bricked out for Fuchs to award Velador the double up.

Hwang Bets Out Mizrachi

Action was picked up in a five-way pot that included Anming Hwang in late position and Robert Mizrachi on the button.

The flop rolled out J44 and action checked around to Mizrachi who bet and only Yong Liu in the small blind and Hwang called.

On the turn 5, action checked around to Mizrachi again who bet and only Hwang called.

Hwang bet on the river 2 and Mizrachi shook his head pondering his decision. After a few more seconds in the tank, Mizrachi folded, ceding the pot to Hwang.

Farha Shows the Nuts

Omaha Hi-Lo

Richard Florestan limped under the gun and was raised by Sammy Farha on the button. Action folded back to Florestan, who called.

The flop came QKJ and Florestan check-folded facing a bet from Farha, who said, "How do you get away from that?" as he showed A10 for Broadway.

Farha, who is a three-time WSOP bracelet winner exclusively in Omaha events, currently sits with approxiamtely 54,000.

Jason Faircloth limped under the gun and James Woods limped behind in middle position. The players in the cutoff and small blind also limped and Mark Burtman checked his option in the big blind.

It was checked to Burtman, who bet 1,000 on the 4J3 flop. Faircloth and Woods called and everyone else folded.

The 7 fell on the turn and it was checked to Woods, who announced, "Pot." Burtman and Faircloth both quickly folded and Woods was awarded the pot uncontested.

Chris Conrad raised to 1,000 from middle position and Ethan Bennett called in the big blind.

The flop rolled out KQ5 and Bennett check-called a bet of 1,500 from Conrad.

On the turn J, Conrad bet 1,000 and Bennett called, with the same action repeating on the river 10.

"Set," said Conrad as he turned over A552 for a set of fives and he took down the pot.
