Matsuzuki Takes From O'Dell

Level 4

Omaha Hi-Lo

Frankie O'Dell limped under the gun and David Matsumoto limped behind in the hijack. Dan Matsuzuki then raised from the cutoff and both O'Dell and Matsumoto called.

All three players checked on the 87J flop and then O'Dell led out for a bet on the 3 turn. Only Matsuzuki called.

The K completed the board and O'Dell check folded facing a bet from Matsuzuki.

Matsuzuki showed A732 for two pair and the nut low before collecting the pot.

Action was picked up on the flop in a pot between Scott Fitzhugh on the button and Bruno Fuentes in early position.

Bruno Fuentes: A1072

Find Out Why Shaun Deeb Gives Away All of His WSOP Gold Bracelets

Level 3
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

There’s no denying that Shaun Deeb is a future Poker Hall of Famer. Whether you know him from his online poker days, where he won more than a dozen COOP titles on PokerStars, or as the 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Player of the Year, Deeb has amassed nearly $13 million in live tournament earnings dating back to 2006 according to The Hendon Mob.

Deeb, who in February 2024 accepted a buyout in his $1 million body fat loss prop bet against Bill Perkins, is also a six-time WSOP gold bracelet winner, but did you know that just like Phil Hellmuth, he’s made a habit of gifting them to those close to him?

PokerNews recently chatted with Deeb about why he gives away his bracelets, which ones he’d keep if he were to win them, and why giving away No. 6 to honor his good friend, the late Thayer Rasmussen, meant so much to him.

Gregorich Gets Three Quarters

Level 3

Omaha Hi-Lo

Quinzzy Pratt called in first position and Mark Gregorich raised in the hijack, prompting calls from Michael Rodrigues in the cutoff, recently crowned bracelet winner David Shmuel in the small blind, and Pratt.

The flop rolled out 3A2 and Gregorich bet after action checked to him, folding out only Rodrigues.

Everyone checked the turn 9 to the river 8 and Shmuel bet from the small, earning two calls.

"Two pair live five?" asked Shmuel with a slight grimace as he flashed 83.

Pratt showed K442 for a live four, but it was Gregorich holding A442 with the same live four and aces up. Shmuel mucked and Gregorich took three-quarters of the pot.
