Split Pot for Petrangelo and McCully

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The board read AKAA with around 70,000 in the middle.

Josh McCully bet 17,000 from the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo made the call from the button.

The river completed the board with the 9. McCully fired a bet of 72,000 out for Petrangelo to call. McCully tabled the K7 for Petrangelo to show the KJ for the same full house both had hit on this board.

Negreanu Heads to the Rebuy Desk

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu encouraged the table to play quickly as the rebuy period was about to end and he was short on chips.

The table obliged as the first few players returned their cards to the dealer with haste. The hijack then raised to 22,000, and Laszlo Bujtas called on the button. Negreanu then moved all in for 93,000.

The hijack folded but Bujtas called.

Daniel Negreanu: A4 All in
Laszlo Bujtas: 66

The board ran out 5810QK, sending the pot in the direction of Bujtas.

Negreanu seemed okay with this, though, and headed off to get a fresh stack of 150,000 before the rebuy period ended.

Gus Hansen Involved in One of the Rarest Poker Hands You'll See at the 2025 WSOP

Gus Hansen

PokerNews' Brad Whitehouse captured a hand on Saturday that might end up being the rarest we'll see all summer at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). At the very least, the rarest chop pot.

Gus Hansen and Dzmitry Urbanovich battled for a hefty pot on Day 2 in Event #23: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship with 35 out of 127 players remaining. The pot ended in a chop, but it left future Poker Hall of Famer Nick Schulman in awe.

"I've never seen that before," Schulman, who has seen nearly everything at the poker table, was overheard saying as he glanced at the tabled cards. "Wow, that's an amazing one."

Short Delay

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Due to the large number of late registrations, the start of the new level has been delayed as all the players will be redrawn to new tables and the currently seated players will need to move to their new seats.
