Liberto Picks Up a Nice Pot

On a flop of 610J with 60,000 already in the pot, Shawn Daniels led out for 10,000 from the small blind, and Justin Liberto called from the big blind.

The turn brought the A, and Daniels turned up the heat with a bet of 55,000. Liberto called again.

The river was the A, and both players checked. Liberto revealed 103 to take down a nice pot with just one pair, while Daniels quickly mucked his cards.

Anderson Takes a Chunk out of Karakikov

Pavlin Karakikov was on the button and raised to 12,000, and Francis Anderson made the call in the big blind.

The flop showed 672, and Anderson pulled the check-raise to 43,000 after Karakikov bet out 10,000. Karakikov made the call.

On the turn 7, Anderson check-called after Karakikov bet out 35,000.

The pot was building up, and the river K brought a backdoor flush, and Anderson put in most of his stack for 125,000. Karakikov went into the think tank and folded.

Shao Fills Up to Double Off Cross

Peter Cross raised to 15,000 in early position and Bob Shao moved all in for 52,000 in middle position. The table folded back to Cross who quickly called.

In a blind versus blind battle, Jim Collopy put in 150,000 as he left one 1,000 chip behind against Michael Banducci.

The flop came JJJ and Collopy used all his time clock before checking. The floor was called over and a tournament official informed Collopy he would only have 15 seconds on his next decision. Banducci then bet and Collopy didn't wait long before tossing in his last chip.
