Negreanu Catches Sion Bluffing, Gets Called Down by Sternheimer

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 15,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu and Elior Sion went to the draw when Sion bet 75,000 from the hijack. Negreanu called on the button and Sion instantly mucked. Negreanu showed 8x7x5x4x2x as he took the pot.

"I had a pair. I had to bluff," Sion said.

"The top pair bluff. I done that before," Brian Rast replied.

The next hand, Negreanu went four ways to the draw when he bet 85,000 from the cutoff. Only Philip Sternheimer called on the button. Negreanu showed a 9-8, but Sternheimer turned over an 8-7 to win the pot.

Tilton Picks the Right Time to Wake Up With a Monster

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 15,000 ante

Action folded to Danny Wong who moved all in from the small blind as James Tilton quickly called for his last 37,000 in the big blind.

Wong took one, but it was of no use as Tilton turned over 7x5x4x3x2x for a pat wheel. "I'll say you're the favorite," Ali Eslami said.

Wong didn't even bother looking at his cards before mucking and giving up the pot. "What is that? I keep getting f**ked. I've had like four tilting things happen to me in the last hour and a half," Wong lamented.

Dan Smith

Wil Wilkinson shoved for his last 40,000 from the hijack and was called by Dario Alioto in the small blind. Dan Smith raised to approximately 140,000 from the big blind — leaving himself just 1,000 behind and Alioto called.

Alioto drew one and both Smith and Wilkinson stood pat.

Alioto bet to put Smith all in before looking at his draw and Smith called all in.

Dan Smith: 8x7x6x4x2xAll in
Dario Alioto: 7x6x4x3x

Alioto peeled a 4x and Wilkinson mucked his hand — eliminating Wilkinson and more than doubling Smith on the stone bubble.
