Elias Forces a Fold from Seiver

Level 13 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 7,500 ante

Oscar Johansson opened to 12,000 first to act and was called by Darren Elias in the hijack. Scott Seiver then squeezed to 60,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Johansson and a call from Elias.

Seiver stood pat and Elias drew one.

Seiver announced a check and Elias thought a bit before placing a bet of 150,000 into the middle.

"I know I have a clear fold," Seiver said as he tanked. "Something doesn't feel right."

Eventually, Seiver did decide to lay his hand down and Elias collected the pot without showing.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

Three-handed after the draw, Bariscan Betil bet 25,000 from middle position and Scott Seiver called in the cutoff. Wil Wilkinson then moved all in for 53,000 in the big blind.

Betil quickly folded, but Seiver took a few minutes and eventually called. Wilkinson turned over 7x6x5x4x2x and Seiver mucked as Wilkinson doubled up.

Phil Hellmuth opened to 18,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 60,000 by Chance Kornuth in the hijack. Action folded back to Hellmuth, who paused before announcing he was all in, which was enough to put Kornuth all in for his last 130,000.

Hellmuth stood pat and Kornuth went deep into the tank before saying, "I have no idea if I'm supposed to break this ten-seven or not."

Kornuth did eventually decide to draw one and hands were turned face up.

Kornuth broke correctly, but ended up drawing a 10x back anyways to be eliminated.

Steinman Has Kupin Drawing Dead

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

Action folded to Aaron Kupin who raised to 25,000 in the small blind. Ian Steinman then moved all in from the big blind and Kupin called for 30,000.

Kupin drew one and turned over Jx8x5x2x, but he was already drawing dead as Steinman patted 8x7x5x4x2x. Kupin didn't even bother looking at his last card before getting up from his seat and heading for the rail.

Eychenne Prematurely Reveals His Hand as Funkhouser Virtually Doubles

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 9,000 ante

David Funkhouser raised to 12,000 in the cutoff and Thomas Eychenne three-bet to 133,000 in the small blind. Funkhouser called and both players stood pat.

"Jack," Eychenne announced, but it was pointed out to him that Funkhouser wasn't all in and still had 7,000 behind. "That's embarrassing," Eychenne added as Funkhouser put in his last chips.

"I don't think I have to call. He's never bluffing," Eychenne said, giving up his hand as Funkhouser secured the virtual doubled up until showing his cards.
