In the last hand of the previous level, Viktor Blom opened to 80,000 from the button and Dominykas Mikolaitis called from the big blind.
Mikolaitis check-called for 80,000 on the A♣10♦8♦ flop, and did the same for 320,000 on the 9♠ turn. A third check came from the Lithuanian on the 3♣ river. Blom sized up to 920,000, sending his opponent into the tank. Mikolaitis used up three time banks before conceding the pot.

With the money bubble looming, the pace of play has slowed considerably.
Brock Wilson opened to 105,000 in middle position and Sean Winter used a time bank before counting out a three-bet to 330,000 in the cutoff. The rest of table folded including Wilson who quickly ditched his cards.
On the next hand, Wilson opened to 105,000 again and was called by Pavel Plesuv on his left. Winter three-bet again to 400,000 and the entire table paid their respects by folding.

Aliaksei Boika raised to 125,000 in the cutoff and Ben Tollerene called from the big blind. The flop came Q♣J♦8♥ and Tollerene check-called a bet of 110,000 from Boika.
The turn brought the 10♦ and Tollerene checked again. Boika fired out a bet of 135,000 and Tollerene stuck around for the Q♥ on the river. Both players tapped the table and Tollerene tabled K♠8♣ for two pair but Boika held A♦9♥ for a straight.

Sean Winter opened to 105,000 in middle position and Alexandre Reard and Shannon Shorr called in the blinds.
Reard led out for 85,000 on the flop of Q♣2♥4♥ and both opponents called. Reard then checked on the 8♥ turn and Shorr used a time bank before betting 235,000. Winter folded and Reard called.
Continuing the unconventional line, Reard led out again for 225,000 on the K♥ river and Shorr used another time bank before folding.

Reagan Silber raised it up from early position and Jason Koon called in the big blind. The flop came Q♥8♦6♣ and Koon check-called a bet of 100,000 from Silber.
The turn brought the 7♠ and Koon checked again. Silber tossed in another bet of 125,000 and Koon check-raised to 600,000. Silber threw his cards away but didn't necessarily believe Koon.
"Friends show friends one card," Koon said as he let Silber choose a card which was the 6♦. "Now you believe me."

Martin Kabrhel and Alex Foxen were heads-up in the pot with around 300,000 in the middle and the board reading A♠6♣3♠4♠. Foxen led out with a bet of 125,000 from the big blind and Kabrhel called on the button.
"Another spade, Matthew," Kabrhel pleaded with the dealer. The river was indeed the K♠ and Foxen checked this time. Kabrhel announced a bet of 440,000 and then celebrated when Foxen didn't snap-call.
"Alex, let me give you some advice. When somebody is talking on the river, it is never a bluff! Never ever a bluff," Kabrhel continued to blabber while Foxen thought about his decision.
Foxen eventually called and Kabrhel turned over his hand, one card a time. First the 10♣ and then the Q♠, "Casino Royale!" he shouted with the nut flush.
