Ivey Chows Down the Fish

Level 14 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Jason Koon, in the cutoff, and Phil Ivey, on the button, just got their stacks into the middle preflop, with Ivey the player at risk.

Koon had AxKx while Ivey held 10x10x. The board ran out queen high for Ivey to double.

Ivey opened the following hand to 100,000, then reached into his bag and pulled out some glass tupperware, which appeared to contain some form of peppered or Cajun salmon. As Ivey took a few mouthfuls, the button and blinds got out of the way, and the 11-time bracelet winner took his stack above 2,000,000.

When the A fell on the river, Haxton checked and Mateos bet 455,000. Haxton folded.

Boivin Continues to Stack Chips

Level 14 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Adrian Mateos and Thomas Boivin were heads-up in a pot with around 650,000 in the middle and the board reading KQ102. Each player committed an additional 535,000 chips on the turn and the Q paired the board on the river.

Boivin checked from the big blind and Mateos quickly checked it back. Boivin flipped over KQ for a full house and Mateos mucked his cards with an eye roll.
