Wright Bluff Falls Short

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up on a completed board of 891053 and a pot of around 10,000. Nicholas Wright had fired 3,800 sending Darrell Hopkins, on the button, to the tank.

Hopkins was taking his time to consider his action. Finally he made the call looking resigned to whatever the result may be on the straighty board.

Worre Sent Home Early

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There was some huge action on a flop of 10AK despite there being only 4,000 in the pot. Paul Snead had 7,500 in front of him, after Kianoosh Mohajeri had checked his action and Eric Worre had thrown out a bet. Mohajeri called the 7,500, and the two were awaiting Worre's decision, who ended up shoving for around 45,000 chips.

Snead was clearly in a very tough spot, and after a while got rid of his cards. Mohajeri then put in a snap-call, showing that he'd flopped the nuts.

Fleischmann Flushes Out Wolpert's Trips

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Arthur Fleischmann, in the hijack, opened to 800 and was in business with three customers - Marc Wolpert on the button, Joseph Neiman in small blind and Michael Stembera in big.

All saw a flop of 4A5. After two taps on the table, Fleischmann continued with 1,200. Wolpert called but both blinds folded their hands.

Slowing down, Fleischmann checked the Q turn prompting Wolpert to bet 2,000. Fleischmann called to see the last street. Once again, Fleischmann check-called Wolpert's bet of 6,000 on the river 4.

Wolpert showed 64 for trips on the river but Fleischmann showed K8 for a flush on the turn.

The table erupted when the dealer almost mucked Fleischmann's hand to award the pot to Wolpert. But before any major damage could happen, the chips were pushed in the proper direction - towards Fleischmann's side.
