Vieira Makes the Wrong River Call vs Lichtenberger

Level 16 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 350,000 from the cutoff and Joao Vieira called from the big blind.

Both players checked the 644 flop to see the 10 appear on the turn. Vieira checked and Lichtenberger bet 325,000. Vieira called.

After Vieira checked the 3 river, Lichtenberger jammed for Vieira's remaining 1,400,000 or so. Vieira went into the tank for quite some time, burning through some of his time bank cards. Eventually, Vieira tossed in the call.

Lichtenberger revealed K10 for a pair of tens, which was good to win the pot and bust Vieira, who had 53 for a rivered pair of treys.

The Kabrhel Show Continues as Negreanu Fights Back

Level 16 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Martin Kabrhel opened the button to 325,000 and Chris Brewer called from the big blind.

Brewer check-called a min-bet of 160,000 on the KQ8 flop before the 9 turn and K river checked through. Brewer tabled A7 which was no good against the AJ of Kabrhel as he dragged a small one.

The next hand, Kabrhel opened the cutoff to 325,000 before it folded to Daniel Negreanu in the big blind.

Fed up with the antics of Kabrhel, Negreanu decided to take a stand, literally, as he stood up from his chair and announced, "One million, bitch!" for a three-bet to 1,000,000.

Kabrhel did not take so kindly to Negreanu's energized response and complained to the floor, "If I do this I get four round penalty," before ultimately folding.

Lichtenberger Spikes a Set to Double Up

Level 16 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action folded to Andrew Lichtenberger on the button who shoved all in for 1,985,000. In the midst of a conversation with the other table, Seth Davies looked down at his cards in the big blind and instantly called.

Andrew Lichtenberger: 44All in
Seth Davies: AK

The flop came K104 with the king in the window for Davies but the four quickly followed for Lichtenberger. The 3 on the turn left Davies drawing dead to the Q on the river.

Some Limped Pots on the Feature Table

Level 16 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang limped the small blind and Alex Foxen checked his option in the big blind.

They checked down to the 996K9 board before Vogelsang bet 200,000 and Foxen called. Vogelsang tabled A4 for trips with an ace kicker which was good as he got some river value.

The next hand, Foxen limped the small blind and Thomas Boivin checked his option.

On the J103 flop, Foxen led for 160,000, Boivin raised to 480,000, and Foxen folded as the pace of play slows on the soft bubble.
