Boivin Takes from Foxen on the Bubble

Alex Foxen raised the button to 600,000 and Thomas Boivin called from the small blind.

Boivin led out for 350,000 on the J♥5♠J♦ flop and was met by a raise to 925,000 from Foxen. Boivin called.

The 3♣ turn went check-check and the 5♥ appeared on the river. Boivin led out for 2,500,000, causing Foxen to go into the tank. Foxen, who was seated on Boivin's right, burned through a time bank card before folding and Boivin won the pot.

Thomas Boivin raised to 450,000 in the cutoff and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 2,500,000, leaving just 200,000 chips behind. Boivin announced all in and Kisacikoglu called to put the cards face up.

The flop came 9♣3♠2♣ and Boivin took a commanding lead with a set of nines. The 3♣ on the turn left Kisacikoglu drawing dead to the 3♥ on the river. The final 11 players will now be hand-for-hand on the money bubble.

Martin Kabrhel opened the hijack to 400,000 and Bryn Kenney defended his big blind.

"Can you please check in the dark to save time?" Kabrhel requested before the 10♥10♣5♣ flop was fanned out, "This guy never leads against me, zero percent," as Kenney led for 200,000.

"Not like that!" Kabrhel offered his trademark response as he called.

On the 7♦ turn, Kenney slowed down with a check and then called after Kabrhel bet 500,000.

The 9♠ river checked through as Kenney tabled 10♦6♦ for trips to win the pot.

The next hand, Kabrhel limped under the gun, Daniel Negreanu limped from the cutoff, and David Peters checked his option in the big blind.

On the 9♥8♦2♣ flop, it checked to Kabrhel who overbet for 1,200,000, and both opponents folded.

Boivin checked the 3♦A♠K♣ flop and Ding put out a min-bet of 200,000. This was enough to get Boivin to fold, allowing Ding to pull in a much-needed pot.

Thomas Boivin recently went heads-up with Seth Davies where the chip leader flopped a set of kings. The action was checked down to the river and Boivin got paid off with a pot-sized bet on the river.

Following that, Biao Ding opened to 400,000 in the cutoff and was called by Alex Foxen on the button and Thomas Boivin in the big blind. The flop came K♦7♦4♠ and the action checked to Foxen who bet 400,000. Boivin called and Ding got out of the way.

The turn was the 6♠ and both players checked to the 5♦ on the river. Boivin led out with a large bet of 2,800,000 and Foxen was forced to throw his cards away.

Bryn Kenney raised from middle position to 425,000 and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind.

Negreanu check-called a bet of 325,000 from Kenney on the 6♥A♦J♦ flop.

The turn came the 8♥ and Negreanu checked again. Kenney bet 850,000, and was met by a check-jam from Negreanu for about 4,000,000. Kenney quickly folded, and Negreanu pulled in the pot.

Orpen Kisacikoglu and Seth Davies limped in from middle position and Christoph Vogelsang shoved all in for 3,025,000 on the button. Alex Foxen also stuck in the last of his 2,375,000 chips from the small blind. Kisacikoglu folded but Davies confirmed the counts and then called.

A massive three-way all in broke after what started out as a limped pot. The flop came J♠4♣3♥ and Davies was still in front with the best pair. The 9♥ on the turn changed nothing but the A♠ hit the river and Foxen survived with a triple up. Davies had Vogelsang covered in the side pot to send the cloaked German to the rail.
