Ausmus Applies Pressure to Tollerene

Jeremy Ausmus opened the button to 75,000 and was called by Matthias Eibinger in the small blind and Ben Tollerene in the big blind.

On the Q♥10♠7♦ flop, the action checked to Ausmus who continued for 65,000. Eibinger quickly folded but Tollerene stuck around.

The turn brought the K♣. Ausmus sized up to 300,000 which did not shake Tollerene as he wanted to see another card.

The A♠ river brought a four-liner on board as Tollerene used a time bank before he checked. Ausmus announced a bet of 750,000, which prompted a quick fold from Tollerene.

Ponakovs was the slight favorite to double as the J♥10♠9♣ flop gave Kisacikoglu middle pair and an open-ender against the bottom pair of Ponnakovs. The 8♦ turn completed Kisacikoglu's straight as Ponakovs was only drawing to a chop, which did not come on the 2♥ river as he hit the rail.

Alex Foxen just joined the field and became the fourth player to reenter thus far. After taking his seat, Foxen raised to 60,000 in early position. Jeremy Ausmus reraised to 240,000 in the small blind and Foxen just called.

The flop fell A♣9♣6♠ and Ausmus continued with a bet of 150,000. Foxen called and the 7♥ rolled off on the turn. Ausmus checked this time and Foxen put together a bet of 255,000. Ausmus contemplated for 30 seconds but decided to lay his hand down.

Tang Spikes the Turn to Double Through Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo opened the cutoff to 65,000 and was called by Danny Tang in the small blind.

On the 8♣6♦4♣ flop, Petrangelo continued for 70,000 before Tang check-raised to 225,000. Petrangelo immediately inquired about the amount of chips Tang had behind.

"620 back," responded Tang, to which Petrangelo quickly announced all-in for 845,000 effective as the covering stack, and Tang called.

"I have middle set," joked Tang as he only showed the 6♣ first.

Petrangelo held top pair against the middle pair, flush draw, and gutter of Tang who retained a flurry of outs. No waiting was required on the 10♣ turn as Petrangelo was drawing dead to the 2♣ river and Tang collected his double.

Boivin Puts Haxton in the Blender

Thomas Boivin made it 60,000 to go from the cutoff and Isaac Haxton called from the small blind.

Haxton knuckled the action over to Boivin on the Q♦9♠3♠ flop and he bet 120,000. Haxton called.

The Q♠ turn checked through, for the 8♣ to fall on the river. Haxton bet 300,000 and was met by a raise to 1,415,000 from Boivin. Haxton burned through a time bank card before electing to fold and forfeit the pot to Boivin.

Daniel Negreanu played a heads-up pot in the big blind against Chance Kornuth on the button on a board of 10♠8♥A♥J♣10♣.

Negreanu bet 150,000 on the river and Kornuth called, only to muck as Negreanu showed 9♣7♦ for a straight.

"You turned a straight on me again?" Kornuth said in reference to a hand from Day 1.

Picking up the action on the turn, the board read J♠J♦5♦6♥ with around 400,000 in the middle. David Peters led out with a bet of 330,000 in the big blind and Jonathan Jaffe called on his left.

The river brought the 10♣ and Peters announced all in as the bigger of the two stacks. Jaffe still asked for a count, despite being put to the test for his remaining 1,600,000. Jaffe used all of his time to consider his options but decided to send his cards into the muck.

On the 9♠5♠2♠ flop, Ding continued for a small size before Haxton clicked it to 125,000. Ding used a time extension before he three-bet the flop to 210,000, and Haxton called.

The two went heads-up to the 8♣ turn as Haxton checked and Ding moved all-in for an even 400,000. Haxton confirmed that Ding was in fact all-in and quickly called.
