Aram Zobian raised to 700 from the cutoff, and Maurice Hawkins smooth called from the big blind. The flop came out monotone with 3♠8♠2♠, and Hawkins checked to the raiser, who bet 400.

On the turn Q♠, Zobian kept up the aggression and bet 1,100 after Hawkins checked. Hawkins called the bet.

Both players checked the river K♣, and Hawkins tabled A♦Q♣, for a pair of queens, and Zobian showed K♦6♦ for a pair of kings and the win.

Christian Roberts raised from the cutoff to 2,000, and Toby Lewis called from the big blind. The flop arrived with 10♣A♦4♣ and both players checked.

The turn 10♥ held just as much action with a check from both players.

On the river 2s, Lewis led out for 3,000, and Roberts made a quick call. Lewis showed the Q♦5♥ for nothing, and Roberts showed K♠3♠ for nothing but the higher card for the win.

There were roughly 18,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 7♠Q♥K♣, Hattori Lopez led 6,000 from the small blind when the 4♦ hit the turn, Patrick Leonard called on the button.

Lopez decided to put Leonard all in when the A♠ was dealt on the river, Leonard looked at Lopez and said "I think you have Jack-four", and called.

Lopez tabled 6♥6♣, Leonard tabled A♦7♥ and scooped the pot on the river. The whole hand began when Leonard asked Nacho who was on the table to his right if he should raise, Nacho said "yes".

Action was picked up on the river, as the board read out J♥10♣3♦5♠Q♦. Despite there being only 11,800 chips in the pot, both Glenn Fishbein and Ren Lin found themselves all in for huge amounts, with similar stack sizes.

Fishbein had K♥10♥ tabled, but Lin's turned two pair with J♠5♥ was the winning hand. As stacks were counted out, it was revealed that Lin just about had Fishbein's 45,000 covered, and he eliminated his opponent.

Cary Katz started off the action with a bet of 2,600 from under the gun and Michael Shrader raised to 6,500 from the button. Katz made the call.

An action flop developed in the form of 3♠9♠10♠ which Katz checked. Shrader moved all in for 11,200 which Katz snap-called.

Katz flopped an open-ended straight flush draw with the higher part in his opponent's hand, leaving Shrader looking for any spade that wasn't the 6♠. The turn brought a 3♦ which was no help to Shrader.

An early exit came for Schrader as the 9♣ completed the board and was in good spirits leaving the tournament area.

With three players seeing a board of 5♦7♣K♣4♣ and around 11,000 in the middle, Rafael Reis bet 2,500 from the big blind and was called by Kevin Abecassis in the cutoff and John Mcdonald on the button.

All three players checked the J♦ river. Abecassis tabled Q♥Q♦ and both opponents mucked.

Reis was left with around 9,000 following that hand and busted out shortly after.
