Seth Berger moved all in from the cutoff for 28,000, and Robert Borick placed his stack in the middle for 45,000, and everyone else left the battle.
Seth Berger: A♦2♦
Robert Borick: J♥J♦
The board favored Borick with 7♠Q♥5♦J♣10♥, and he won it with a set of jacks.
Georgi Sandev opened to 5,000 on the button, before being instantly raised by Jonathan Wang, who made it 12,000. Button player Girish Reknar called, as did Sandev.
Sparks flew on a flop of 4♠4♣Q♦ as Sandev checked, Wang downbet to 8,000 and Reknar called. Now it was Sandev's turn to bump it up, as he check-raised to 19,000. Wang got out of the way, before Reknar three-bet ripped it for 60,500. Sandev, in a tough spot, said, "You can't have aces, because I have aces." He eventually mucked, forfeiting the pot to Reknar.
Action was picked with roughly 50,000 chips in the pot, Ankit Ahuja bet 71,500 from the cutoff on a board of A♦8♣Q♠7♥6♥. Drew O'Connell went deep into the tank and eventually called.
Ahuja was quick to table Q♥8♠ and O'Connell mucked.
The action started before the flop with Steve Zolotow raising to 5,500 from under the gun. The action folded around to Dragos Trofimov who moved all in for 160,000. Zolotow made the call and was at risk of his tournament life.
Steve Zolotow: 10♦10♣
Dragos Trofimov: A♣J♦
Zolotow needed to fade an ace or a jack to stay alive. The flop came K♦3♣4♥ Zolotow in good shape heading to fourth street.
"No deuce" said Zolotow as a turn card of the 5♥ hit the felt.
No deuce indeed was the outcome as the 5♦ paired the board and Zolotow was able to take the pot down with his pocket pair of tens.
In a preflop confrontation Samy Boujmala was all in from the hijack for 25,000 and up against Dan Russell who had him covered from the small blind.
Samy Boujmala: Q♦J♥
Duy Duong: J♦J♠
Boujmala had a gutshot straight draw on the A♥10♣4♦ flop and improved to an open-ender on the 9♣ turn. The 2♣ river was a brick and Boujmala exited the tournament area while Duong took the last of his chips.
Sridhar Sangannagari opened to 5,500 from the cutoff and Ryan Leng defended from the big blind.
Both players checked the flop and turn leading to a final board of K♠J♠7♠6♣3♣. Leng checked, Sangannagari bet 5,000 and Leng called.
Sangannagari turned over top pair with K♣10♥ and Leng mucked his hand.
