Today sees the kickoff for Event #49: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The event starts at 12 p.m. local time with 30-minute levels. There will be a 15-minute break every four levels and a one hour dinner break after Level 10 (about 5:30 p.m.).
Starting stacks are 40,000 and players may reenter once, provided they do so before the end of late registration at the start of Level 11 (about 6:30 p.m. after dinner break).
Day 1 is set to end after Level 21 and Day 2 will resume at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 with 40-minute blind levels. Day 2 is expected to be the final day, with play continuing until a winner is declared.
Last year's event drew 1,230 runners and saw Nicholas Seward win his first bracelet and $516,135.
The 2023 edition of this event went to Mark Ioli, who beat out a field of 1,241 entries to win his first bracelet and $558,266 of the $3,313,470 prize pool.
