Lau's Turn Aggression Gets Fold from Hrabec

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Roman Hrabec limped on the button, Ka Kwan Lau completed from the small blind, and Dario Sammartino checked his option.

The flop came KQ3 and Lau led out for 20,000. Sammartino folded, but Hrabec made the call.

The turn was the 9, and this time Lau bet 75,000. Hrabec paused, and then raised to 175,000. Lau responded by raising pot, which would have put Hrabec all in. Hrabec folded, and Lau dragged the pot.

Daniel Negreanu

Manuel Stojanovic's big stack took a slight dent after he clashed in a showdown with Daniel Negreanu. Stojanovic began the hand with a raise to 45,000 from early position. Negreanu responded with a reraise to 200,000 from the hijack before Stojanovic put in enough to put Negreanu all in. Negreanu flipped in his final 4,000 to head to a showdown.

Daniel Negreanu: AA83All in
Manuel Stojanovic: AK94

Negreanu hit a set when the flop fanned out AJQ, but Stojanovic was still drawing to a straight. The 5 turn and the 9 river averted danger for Negreanu to give him the double-up.

Alex Foxen raised to 30,000 in early position and Manuel Stojanovic three-bet to 108,000 in the hijack. The action folded back to Foxen who peeled to see a flop of 877.

Foxen checked to Stojanovic who continued with a bet of 80,000. Foxen check-raised to 290,000 and Stojanovic slid his cards to the muck.

Rivered Flush for Kenney

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Isaac Haxton, Jesse Lonis, Bryn Kenney, and Tyler Moncek were each looking at a flop of 1077, with 100,000 already in the middle.

When the action got to Kenney, he bet 60,000 and only Moncek called.

The turn 3 slowed the action down as both players checked. The river J also checked through, and when Kenney revealed Q997, showing he had rivered a flush, Moncek mucked his hand.

Taylor Doubles at Table of Death

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a star-studded table, Jason Koon limped from the hijack and then saw Thomas Taylor raise to 40,000 on the button. Action folded back to Koon, who made the call.

The flop came down AQ7, which was the perfect storm to see Koon and Taylor maneuver their stacks into the middle.

Taylor was the player at risk, and the player revealed their hands.

Thomas Taylor: AAQ10 All in
Jason Koon: AQ104

A cooler situation, Taylor with top set versus Koon with top two pair and a flush draw.

The turn 8 kept Taylor in the lead, before the river Q improved both players to a full house. Taylor had the bigger boat, though, and once his stack was counted, the dealer pushed the nearly one million chip pot in his direction.

Moncek Takes One Pair to the Streets

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a flop of 753, Jesse Lonis led out with a bet of 77,000 and Tyler Moncek called in position. The turn was the 10 and Lonis bet the pot of 300,000. Moncek only had 268,000 remaining and made the call.

Tyler Moncek: AJJ7All in
Jesse Lonis: J1098

Lonis had top pair and a wrap while Moncek was a sitting duck with just a pair of jacks. However, the Q on the river bricked out and Moncek's pair of jacks was enough to double up.

"How is it possible to lose this hand?" Lonis questioned after.

"I didn't think it was possible," Isaac Haxton responded.
