With David Steicke all-in from the big blind, Matt Glantz and Jyri Merivirta saw the dealer spread out a flop of 7♣4♥Q♥. Both players checked for the 7♥ to land on the turn. Glantz bet from the cutoff, which Merivirta called.

Glantz bet again on the 8♦ river and Merivirta called. Glantz showed 9♠9♦ for a pair of nines, which won him the side pot as Merivirta mucked. Sticke hadn't looked at his cards and slowly turned over K♦4♣ for just a pair of fours, which meant he was out of the tournament.

Three-way action to the J♠8♠2♣ flop saw Patrick Leonard lead out with a bet from the small blind. Koji Fujimoto called in the big blind before Philip Sternheimer raised in middle position.

Leonard then slid out a three-bet, with Fujimoto folding as Sternheimer moved his last chips into the middle.

Sternheimer could not improve on the 10♦ turn or K♦ river, as Leonard's pair of jacks held to score the elimination.

With Yu all-in, the dealer fanned out a flop of 2♣8♥3♠. Vieira bet and Mayoh called.

Vieira bet again on the 9♣ turn, and was met by a raise from Mayoh. Vieira folded, and the cards were revealed with Yu at risk.

Mayoh had top pair, and Yu needed a queen or a jack to stay alive. The 8♣ rolled off on the river, meaning Yu was out of the tournament.
