Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Farid Jattin raised to 175,000 in the cutoff, and Phil Ivey moved all in from the small blind. Jattin quickly called, and the players waited for a hand at another table to complete. Once it was finished, they exposed their hands.

Phil Ivey: AKK8 All in
Farid Jattin: QQJJ

The runout of AJ225 was bad news for Ivey, as aces up went down to the jacks full of Jattin.

Foxen Loses Some More

Level 18 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Richard Gryko and Alex Foxen were heads up on the 106A flop. Gryko checked from the big blind before Foxen bet 240,000. Gryko called to the K turn, where Foxen sized up to 375,000 after using a time extension.

Gryko tossed in another call, after which the 8 river was checked down. Gryko showed K977 for a straight to the ten, and Foxen's cards hit the muck in defeat.

Duek Doubles Up

Level 18 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Michael Duek
Michael Duek

It folded to Michael Duek in the small blind, who raised to 150,000. Duek only had 120,00 behind, and was put all in by Alex Foxen in the big blind. Duek made a quick call, revealing the cards.

Michael Duek: AK97 All in
Alex Foxen: AQ96

Foxen flopped a flush draw on 53A for some extra outs. The 8 turn removed some outs for Foxen as a six would make Duek a straight, and the 3 river saw Duek's ace-king hold for a double-up.

"Go back to your tables, nits!" Duek yelled to the gathered onlookers as he stacked up his chips.

Players checked the 6 river and Gerritse showed AAK10. Foxen looked at the cards and mucked his hand, passing the pot to Gerritse.

Scott Seiver: KK65
Joni Jouhkimainen: JJ108

The turn A and river A were safe for Seiver, so he scored the double right before dinner break.

Quads for Ding

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Biao Ding
Biao Ding

Biao Ding limped in from the hijack before Youness Barakat raised to 180,000 on the button. The action folded back to Ding, who made the call.

Both players checked the QQJ flop, but when Ding checked for a second time on the Q turn, Barakat put out a bet of 115,000, which Ding called.

The dealer produced the K river, and when Ding checked for a third time, Barakat wisely checked back. Ding rolled over QJ109 for a turned four-of-a-kind, and Barakat returned his cards to the dealer face down.
