Smith Teaches Gluszko a Lesson

Level 7
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

No-Limit Hold'em

Heads-up on a completed board of 104284 with about 5,000 already in the middle, Tomasz Gluszko had a bet in front of him from the big blind and was faced with a shove from Dan Smith, who was in the hijack.

Gluszko went deep into the tank as he contemplated calling all in for his last 13,000 and eventually the clock was called.

Gluszko let his hand go and Smith tabled AJ for a bluff.

"How do you feel right now?" tablemate Nitesh Rawtani asked.

"I learned something," Gluszko responded.

Gunness "Back in the Tournament"

Level 8

Seven Card Stud

Paul Gunness: AK2 / A323
Erick Lindgren: XxXx / Q1064 / Xx
Charles Thomas: XxXx / 952 - folded on fifth street

Gunness had made it three bets on third and he proclaimed, "I'm rolled up guys!" as the action went three ways.

Gunness led on fourth and both opponents called. On fifth, Gunness led again and only Lindgren called.

Gunness led on sixth before seventh street checked through. Gunness tabled his "three pair" but only played his aces and threes which were enough for the winner as Lindgren mucked.

"I'm back in the tournament guys!" exclaimed Gunness as he dragged the pot of over 26,000.

Big Slick Does the Trick for Crouch

Level 8

Limit Hold’em

Matt Valeo raised from the cutoff and was called by Christopher Vitch in the small blind. Chase Crouch made it three bets to go from the big blind and both Valeo and Vitch called.

Vitch checked to Crouch, who continued for a bet on the 10A2 flop. Both Valeo and Vitch called.

The Q fell on the turn and it was again checked to Crouch, who put in another bet. Again both Valeo and Vitch called.

Vitch checked a final time on the 10 river and Crouch bet. This time Valeo folded, but Vitch called and Crouch turned over AK.

Vitch sent his cards into the muck upon seeing it and Crouch collected a nice pot.
