Tolbert Chips Up

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action showed two players in an all-in showdown, their chips and hands in the middle.

Rahul Mehta: A2 All in
Stephen Tolbert: AK

Tolbert was ahead and Mehta wasn't looking very hopeful especially when the flop came 8Q10. Mehta prepared to leave, but waited until the board was completed. The 4 turn and 3 river didn't help him in any way sending him to hit the rails.

Seguin Makes the Right Call

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In a heads-up raised pot, the flop was 7J2 when Ruoxiao Shi first checked to Louis Seguin who bet 110,000. Shi raised it to 300,000 and Seguin tanked before calling.

The 3 hit the turn and Shi led out for 350,000. Once again, Seguin took a minute and called to see a J on the river. Both checked and Shi tabled Q10 but the pot was shipped to Seguin who showed AQ.

Chen Secures the Pay Jump

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With a pay jump looming, Wei Chen needed to outlast just one player to secure an added $600 when he three-bet to 300,000 on the button. Marco Soares, who had opened to 100,000, then shoved from early position, covering Chen. Chen then went deep into the tank, with 65,000 chips behind. The clock was called, and he flicked in his remaining chips with just a second left.

Wei Chen: QQ All in
Marco Soares: JJ

Chen held on as the dealer put out the 102K710 board, and just a few hands later a player bust to seal the pay jump.

Unlucky Jacks for Fahey

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Paulo Gini shoved in the cutoff for 400,000 and Shannon Fahey quickly called in the big blind with slightly more:

Paulo Gini: KJ All in
Shannon Fahey: JJ

Fahey had the best hand but Gini hit a pair of kings on the board of 98K109 to double up right before the dinner break.

Sunshine Finds a Double

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Adrian Cazacu opened from under the gun to 80,000, and Brandon Sunshine raised to 520,000, next to act.

Sunshine had left 65,000 behind as the players were on a pay jump. Action returned to Cazacu, who moved all in, and once he was assured of the pay jump, Sunshine called.

Brandon Sunshine: AK All in
Adrian Cazacu: AQ

The flop 7JJ kept Sunshine in the lead, but offered opportunities for Cazacu to chop the pot.

The turn 3 and river 9 were no help to Cazacu, though, and Sunshine pulled in a big double up.

Pearson Takes a Big Chunk of Wang's Stack

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Xia Wang raised to 80,000 in early position and Gregory Pearson shoved next to her for a stack of 690,000. The rest of the players folded and Wang tanked a minute before calling with the bigger stack.

Gregory Pearson: AK All in
Xia Wang: JJ

It was typical flip situation and the dealer showed the K2Q89 runout to give the double-up to Pearson with a pair of kings.

Bray's Boat Bags

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a pay jump, Tim Bray opened the action when it folded to him, raising to 375,000, leaving himself very little behind. Darius Samual then shoved on the button, and Bray took little time before calling.

Tim Bray: 88 All in
Darius Samual: AK

Tim Bray took away plenty of Samual's outs on the J108 flop, however he did pick up a Broadway draw. The sweat was eliminated as Bray filled up on the 10 turn, making the 4 river inconsequential.
