Brandon Sunshine raised to 770,000 from under the gun, leaving himself just 10,000 behind as the tournament is on a pay jump. Action folded to Wei Chen in the small blind, who spent some time deliberating over what to do. After a few minutes passed, Chen moved all in.

When action got back to Sunshine, he snap called, mistakenly believing that the pay jump had been reached.

The flop was safe for Sunshine, coming 10♦10♥7♠, but the A♦ turn moved Chen firmly into the lead.

The river 3♥ was unable to save Sunshine, who, regretfully, headed to the exit when he found out he hadn't quite made the pay jump.

The board already read J♦7♦Q♦K♦9♣ with a big pot containing more than 1,100,000 when Ruoxiao Shi checked to Richard Langdon who shoved, putting Shi at risk for a remaining stack around 800,000.

Shi went deep into the tank before mucking his cards and the nice pot was shipped to Langdon, the veteran of the field, still battling at 77 years old.

Xia Wang opened the action when it folded to her in middle position, by ripping in her 430,000 stack. Michael Mizrachi then reshoved to isolate from the small blind, putting big blind Yuefan Wang in quite the spot. He asked for a count of the original jam, before counting out his own stack and finally letting his cards go, announcing that he'd folded pocket eights.

It was two pair all round, as the board ran out 6♥K♥6♠8♦10♣ giving Wang the best of it. Yuefan Wang would've boated up, as Mizrachi noted that if he had not isolated, Xia Wang would be out.

Wolff's tens held on the flop [jc88s9c] making him the favorite as he got more out with an open-ended straight draw. The A♣ turn shifted the lead putting Chen ahead with a pair of aces but Wolff still had out to fall back on the last street.

The river K♦ feel without improving Wolff's hand. Chen's win surprised him as he scooped the pot and doubled up.
