Sibley Rivers Full House

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

It was a battle of the blinds situation with Andjelko Andrejevic in the small blind calling and Brent Sibley checking preflop.

On the A102 flop, Andrejevic bet 30,000 and Sibley called.

The same situation arose on the 10 turn, Andrejevic bet 100,000 this time, and Sibley made the call.

Andrejevic didn't feel like betting the 9 river, and he checked. Sibley took his time, counted his stack, and after a while, he made a bet of 170,000, prompting Andrejevic to fold. Sibley then tabled 109 for a full house to show that Andrejevic made a right fold.

Kamphues Steals on the River

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Boivin raised to 60,000 in the cutoff and was called by Lars Kamphues on the button and Oleg Vasylchenko in the big blind. The flop came J65 and the action checked to Kamphues who bet 55,000. Vasylchenko folded but Boivin check-raised to 175,000 which Kamphues called.

The turn was the 6 and both players checked to the J on the river. Boivin checked again and Kamphues slid out a bet of 300,000 which Boivin snap-folded to.

Lars Kamphues kicked off the action from middle position with a raise to 60,000. Action folded to Renan Bruschi in the small blind, and he three-bet to 225,000, leaving himself just 15,000 behind. Kamphues went all in, and Bruschi called.

Confusion in the 6-Max

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Despite all of the players spending minutes in the tank waiting for pay jumps, that is not the reason for the tournament currently being paused. While the tournament director was in the process of breaking a table, three different tables asked for the clock to be called. During that, the entire field was accidentally redrawn with seven tables remaining.

For now, the clock has been paused until the tournament directors sort out the confusion and get everyone seated in their correct places.

Yanovsky Flops a Set to Bust Mackoff

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

There was a raise to 60,000 and Jonas Mackoff shipped all in for 430,000 in the small blind. Eric Yanovsky joined the rest of the field by tanking for the next pay jump before shoving all in for slightly more. The original raiser folded and the two hands were tabled.

Kings Full, but Not Feeling It

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Eric Yanovsky

With around 180,000 in the pot, the flop came 775 and three players were in the mix. Srikanth Yadlapati checked from the small blind, Jonas Mackoff followed suit in the big blind, and Eric Yanovsky fired for 70,000 from middle position. Both blinds called to see the turn.

The K hit the felt, and all three checked.

On the 7 river, Yadlapati led out for 80,000. Mackoff took a while before making the call, and the action was now on Yanovsky. After glancing at his cards and chips, he shook his head and muttered, “I’m such a nit,” before tossing in the call.

Yadlapati showed A8 for ace high. Mackoff revealed A8, also ace high. But it was Yanovsky who turned over KK for a full house, kings full of sevens, scooping the pot with a slight look of frustration despite the win.
