Kyeongrim Shin of Team Shin opened up the action from under the gun, with a min-raise to 160,000. Felix Rabas of Team Heinz made the call, as did Kelvin Kerber of Team Kerber.
The flop 3♦4♦8♠ checked through, as did the 8♥ turn, before first to act Kerber led for 325,000 once the 8♣ river rolled off. Shin mulled over his decision for quite some time before folding. Rabas did the same to start off with, but landed on a call, mucking his cards when Kerber tabled 6♦6♠ for a boat. Kerber dragged in the pot, as his chip lead became even more evident.
Matthew Lambrecht of Team Lambrecht opened up the action from under the gun; he raised to 160,000. Action folded all the way around to the big blind, where Brent Jenkins of Team Jenkins peeled a monster and shoved for 945,000. Lambrecht quickly put in the call.

A queen came in the window for what seemed like a cooler, but that cooler became a bad beat when the full K♣A♣Q♥ flop rolled off. Lambrecht was looking for, but unable to find, the case queen, as the 3♣8♠ flop left him with fumes.
Kristy Moreno of Team Moreno shoved from under the gun for 550,000 and Dominic Coombe of Team Mccartney called in the cutoff.

Moreno was dominated, but found a bit of help when the dealer put out a flop of 7♠J♦8♦, which gave her a pair of sevens. A 2♦ on the turn made things a bit sweaty, though, as Coombe improved to a flush draw.
That flush draw completed when the 10♦ landed on the river, which left Team Moreno out in 12th.

Ke was way behind with her Snowmen, and any hope she had of making a deep run melted away as the 2♠4♣7♣7♥2♦ runout left Teama Ke out in 13th.
Peter Patricio of Team Kerber opened the action with a raise to 120,000 from middle position. Cody Daniels of Team Daniels was next to act, and shoved for 700,000. Felix Rabas of Team Heinz called in the small blind, and Patricio got out of the way.

"That's my kryptonite hand," said Daniels to teammate Alan Keating, and he was correct as the turn of the 5♣2♦8♣10♦6♥ runout two-outed him, to send the pair to the rail.
Angela Jordison of Team Jordison raised to 120,000, Peter Patricio of Team Kerber three-bet to 325,000 one seat over and Jordison called.
The flop was 5♥5♣2♦ and Jordison checked. Patricio bet 175,000 and Jordison called. The turn J♠ and river 3♠ saw no further action.
Jordison showed A♥Q♣, Patricio had A♠K♣ and won the hand.
Maxwell Young of Team Jordison opened the action with a raise to 120,000 from the hijack. Robert Foos of Team Foos then shoved his remaining 355,000 from the cutoff, and Young called after the button and blinds got out of the way.

Foos flopped well on J♣7♥5♥ and he called for a heart, but it wouldn't come as the J♦3♠ runout sent the father-son duo home.
Derek Stark of Team Lancaster made it 120,000 to go from under the gun and Hyomo Kang of Team Shin called from the cutoff.
The flop came 8♣K♣K♥ and Stark's continuation-bet of 225,000 was called by Kang to the K♦ turn, where both checked.
A 5♠ hit the river and Stark shoved around 600,000 into the pot. Kang quickly let it go, and will be glad he did as Stark flashed the K♠ for quads.
