Nines for Nakai

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Brian Yoon opened the action with a raise from middle position to 16,000. Juan Duenas, in the next seat over, chose to jam for 96,000.

It folded to Ryuta Nakai on the button, who elected to go all-in for 81,000. Yoon got out of the way to send Duenas and Nakai to a showdown.

Ryuta Nakai: 99All in
Juan Duenas: KQ

Nakai held the advantage into the runout, but Duenas flopped plenty of equity when it came 4J10. The 5 turn kept Nakai in the lead, and the J river kept Nakai out of harm's way to secure the double and leave Duenas hanging by a thread.
