McGowan Hits the Rail

Jonathan McGowan jammed his last 14,000 in from under the gun and five players made the call.

With McGowan all-in, the dealer spread out a flop of 5♦8♠9♣ and everyone checked to see the 10♣ hit the turn. After four checks, Funke bet 75,000 from the button. The rest of the players folded and the cards were flipped over.

Funke turned the nut straight, and McGowan needed a nine or five on the river to improve to a boat. The 2♠ landed on the river, and McGowan was out.

Kabrhel Gets There...and Then Doesn't

The action folded to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind who raised the pot to 15,000, leaving 5,000 chips behind. Lior Abudi just called in the big blind and the dealer fanned the flop of 7♦5♣2♥. Kabrhel checked and Abudi made a bet, forcing Kabrhel to call off his last 5,000 chips.

The turn brought the 2♠ to give Kabrhel trip deuces as he shouted in excitement across the room and put his hands in the air. However, the 5♥ hit the river and Abudi made trip fives which forced Kabrhel to leave the tournament area.

When the dealer revealed the 9♠10♥5♠, Seo checked to the Fuller, the preflop aggressor. Seo promptly moved all in for his remaining 159,000, and Seo called.

Seth Davies peeled against a reraise to 44,000 by Qiaonan Liu in the small blind and came along on the button. Liu jammed the last bit of his stack on the A♦7♣4♦ flop and Davies called, exclaiming, "set of fours," right away.
