Franco Survives; Estanislau Chips Up Despite Loss

Joao Estanislau raised to 42,000 and Eric Cloutier called. Sonny Franco then called all-in for 35,000 on the button before Andrew Ostapchenko bumped it up to 215,000 in the small blind. Estanislau called and Cloutier folded, while Franco was already at risk.

The flop came QJ7 and Ostapchenko checkec, Estanislau jammed for 247,000 and Ostapchenko reluctantly folded.

The 10 turn and 9 river gave Franco the superior flush to win the side pot, Estanislau raked in the larger side pot to chip up.

Zhou Lets Ivey Pick

Quan Zhou opened to 30,000 from under the gun and Phil Ivey defended from the big blind. The flop came AK6 and Ivey check-called a bet of 43,000 from Zhou.

The 8 landed on the turn and Ivey checked again. Zhou eyed up Ivey's stack and then made a pot-sized bet of 161,000. Ivey went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally releasing his cards.

Zhou showed the A and then let Ivey pick two more cards for his eyes which happened to be the K2 for a minimum of two pair.

Fishman Celebrates With a Boat

On a flop of 742, Erik Cajelais and Ken Fishman got all of their chips in the middle with Cajelais at risk for just under 100,000.

Fishman flopped a set of fours but Cajelais took the lead on the 5 turn with a straight. However, the tides turned again on the 7 river which gave Fishman a full house as he celebrated with his fists in the air.

Joao Estanislau made it 42,000 from middle position. Sonny Franco called for his last few chips from the big blind and the cards were revealed.

Franco managed to flop a flush on the 3Q4 flop. The 10 turn gave Estanislau some outs, but the 9 river wasn't one of them, and Franco earned the double-up.

With 40,000 each invested prior to the AK8 flop, Loren Egide bet for 30,000 and Donald Maloney called. Egide then jammed the 10turn for around 52,000 and Maloney reluctantly folded.

"Good fold," Egida said as he flashed the A only before collecting the pot.

Steinberg Septuples; Milgrom Eliminated

Steve Yagudaev raised to 30,000 under the gun, Nicolas Milgrom committed his remaining 4,000 before Mark Steinberg did the same, also with a stack of just 4,000. That ended the preflop action, and the players revealed their cards.

The 4K3 flop gave Milgrom hope of a spin-up, flopping a flush draw, and it was instant service with the turn 2.

The dealer put out the K river, but Steinberg was already on his way out the door as Milgrom already had the pot wrapped up.

Hellmuth on His Best Behavior

Erik Nordstrand raised the pot to 35,000 in middle position and Phil Hellmuth reraised to 110,000 on his left. The action folded back to Nordstrand who called off his stack of 48,000.
