"What an Idiot I Am"; Barbero Rues His Fold as Wirjo Takes Out Funkhouser

Level 9

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jonathan Wirjo, Nacho Barbero, and David Funkhouser saw a flop of A74 where Wirjo moved all in from the cutoff, having his two opponents well covered.

Funkhouser quickly called for 7,500 on the button as action went on Barbero in the big blind. He tanked for several minutes but eventually threw his cards into the muck.

David Funkhouser: KJ76 All in
Jonathan Wirjo: AK75

Wirjo was ahead with top two pair, while Funkhouser had a pair and flush draw. The turn was the 6, while the 10 fell on the river to send Funkhouser to the rail.

Barbero leaned back in his seat with his arms on his head as the pot was pushed to Wirjo. "Wow, what an idiot I am," he lamented.

Everyone Gets a Piece in Four-Way Pot

Level 8

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

David Rodriguez was all in for 3,500 from the button as Nick Guagenti in the small blind, Amnon Filippi in the hijack, and Jeff Madsen in the cutoff all called.

The flop came 875 and Filippi put in his last chips. Madsen then raised and Guagenti called.

Madsen bet again on the 7 turn and Guagenti called. The river was the J and Guagenti called another bet from Madsen.

Madsen showed AJ64 for a straight and a low, while Guagenti had the same low with AJ94 to chop the second side pot. Filippi had 10832 to chop the first side pot with Madsen, while Madsen and Rodriguez chopped the main pot once Rodriguez showed AJ63.

Good for Half?

Level 6
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Big O

Brant Hale limped first to act, Yarron Bendor limped the cutoff, and Shaun Deeb completed the small blind. In the big blind, Daniel Negreanu potted to 1,500 and only Hale and Bendor called.

Action was picked back up on the river to a completed board of K7543 with around 13,000 in the middle. Negreanu bet 5,300 effective and Bendor called off his stack.

Negreanu tabled A9322 for an unbeatable steel wheel as he took out his vlogging equipment to capture the moment. Bendor could only laugh as he mucked on his way to the rebuy desk.
