Dehm Sends Allen Deep Into the Tank

Daniel Allen raised to 800 in the cutoff and Scott Dehm called in the small blind. Joseph Linville then three-bet to 3,000 in the big blind and Allen called, but Dehm four-bet to 10,000. Linville folded and Allen called.

The flop came J♦9♣8♥ and Dehm bet 12,000, sending Allen deep into the tank. "Sorry guys," he said to his tablemates after several minutes had already gone off the clock.

"I saw you double-clutch," he said to Dehm, who remained silent as Allen continued to agonize over the decision. "I'm only going to show this one. I'm not showing the other one," Allen eventually said, flashing the K♥ and mucking.

"I had jacks. I saw him double-clutch, too," Linville said, revealing he would've flopped top set. Dehm showed them A♠Q♠ as he took the pot.
