Yamagishi Gives it Up
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
David Mowery opened from the button to 2,500, and was met with immediate resistance. Colten Yamagishi, who started the hand in the small blind, elected to three-bet to 8,000. The player in the big blind got out of the way, but Mowery made the call.
Both players chose to check the J♥7♦9♠ flop, and when Yamagishi checked for a second time on the J♣ turn, Mowery sensed an opportunity. He placed a bet of 9,500, which was enough to see Yamagishi concede the pot.
