Martinez Flats Pre And Loses the Pot
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
After an open to 8,000 Jesus Martinez three-bet 22,000 and Dusty Ross four-bet to 125,000. The initial raiser folded and Martinez contemplated before flatting with 140,000 behind.
Both players checked the 9♣7♥4♠ flop. "Triyng to figure out what you flatted with," said Ross as the turn brought the 5♠.
Martinez bet 30,000 and Ross called. The river was the A♣. Martinez checked before folding with apparent anger as Ross shoved it.
"Feels like it was aces," said Andreas Staschewski to Ross. "I really like the Hollywood on the flop."
