When the dealer revealed the 7 turn, Nixon put out another bet of 3,700. Chen took a moment to contemplate before tapping the table and folding his hand.

Akkari Gets Gammoned

Kevin Gammon raised to 1,000 from middle position. Andre Akkari called on the button, as did Michael Reed in the big blind. The flop fell 49K. Reed checked to Gamon, who continued for 2,000. Akkari called, while Reed folded.

The J turn and J river then checked through, and Gammon's AK won the pot at showdown.

Douras Takes Small from Webster

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Players were heads-up on the 748 flop with a pot of around 2,500. Gina Webster had checked the big blind and Robert Douras bet 1,600 from the button. Webster called, and the players went to the turn.

The 4 was dealt, with Webster opting to check. Douras bet 1,650 and Webster called.

Players checked down on the 9 river and Webster showed A5, which didn't hold against Douras 109.

Lipman Loses It All

Picking up the action on a 5729 turn, Sanjay Lal checked from the hijack to Lawrence Lipman on the button. Lipman promptly shoved all in for 18,400, a slight over-bet to the pot of 16,000.

After a few minutes in the tank, Lal called off to put Lipman at risk of an early elimination.

Lipman needed an ace, seven, or diamond to appear on the river, but the 10 emerged from the deck instead.

Lipman shook hands with his neighbors before he departed the tournament area as his Main Event run came to an early end.

The initial raiser folded, which brought the action back to King. He only needed a couple of seconds to make a decision, folding AQ face up. Matusow half returned the favour, showing King the A.

Teusl Gets Led Into

Under the gun, Adrien Guyader checked the 89A7 turn over to Jessica Teusl in the next seat over. Teusl fired 4,000 into the pot of 3,300, which Guyader called after some thought.

The 6 arrived on the river, and Guyader quickly led out for 3,500. Teusl made an almost instantenous fold as the pot was shipped to the Frenchman.

Ibarra Cracks Aces to Double

Bohdan Slyvinskyi three-bet to 4,000 in the big blind and Carlos Ibarra called on the button.

The flop came QJ3 and Slyvinskyi continued for 3,000. Ibarra called and the turn was the 2.

Slyvinskyi checked to Ibarra who moved all in for 21,100. Slyvinskyi snap-called with AA, but Ibarra showed 22 for a turned set.

The river was the Q and Ibarra improved to a full house to secure the double up.

Carlos Guerrero called cold on the button and Ryan Leng called cold as well from the small blind. Dubini then made it 8,000 to go, which got a fold from Schuch and Guerrero and a call from Leng.

Leng and Dubini proceeded to check down on the 363 flop, 7 turn, and 10 river.

Leng turned over QQ and Dubini showed he held AK before sending them into the muck.
