Neugebauer Finds Five-Bet

Juan Cantu raised to 400 in middle position. 2023 WSOP Europe champion Max Neugebauer then three-bet to 1,300. Sonny Lee cold-called in the small blind, prompting Cantu to bump it up to 3,400.

Neugebauer reraised again, putting in 9,000 chips. Lee quickly moved out of the way, and Cantu eventually followed suit, shipping the pot to Neugebauer without the need for a flop.

River Saves Fader

Action was picked up on a board of AK92 with around 7,000 in the middle. Dana Howard checked her action over to Jonathan Fader, who bet out for 4,800. Howard then put in a check-raise to 8,000, which, after some time, was changed to 9,600 by the dealer. Fader then stuck in 8,800, which again had to be changed.

The river 9 checked through, and Howard announced, "I have a flush," tabling J4.

"That river saved my whole main event," replied Fader, who said he had a smaller flush.

Krupey With the Nuts

Desantis Takes Two

The 9106 flop saw both check to the J turn.

Desantis bet out 800 which was enough for Rosenbaum to fold.

In the next hand, David Vanreyk opened to 700 from middle position and Desantis called on the button. Gaoming Zhu also defended the big blind.

The QAJ flop saw Zhu check and Vanreyk bet 500. Desantis raised to 1,700 and both Zhu and Vanreyk mucked.

Johnson struggled to make a decision for a long moment but he ultimately chose to call.

"Good call," Romano said while flipping over 63 for a pair and not the flush Johnson worried about. Seeing this hand, Johnson was happy to show AA for a set.
