Grindstaff Flops the Goods and Shows

Robert Gill opened to 900 from early position before Mark Grindstaff three-bet to 4,000 from the button, and Gill called.

On the Q♣J♣6♠ flop, Gill checked to Grindstaff who instantly tossed out a meaty bet of 6,000, which earned a quick fold from Gill. Grindstaff was kind enough to show his Q♥Q♠ as he flopped the nuts but was unable to get any action

Tom Cannuli raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Scott Berko called in the big blind. On the 6♣3♠2♦ flop, Berko check-called for 1,200 and they checked the 7♣ on the turn. Berko also checked the K♠ on the river before he reluctantly paid off a bet worth 5,700.

Cannuli tabled the Q♣Q♠ which Berko had beat with the A♠K♥.

Joseph Cutler raised in middle position, and only Thomas Roach made the call, a couple of seats to his left.

The dealer laid down a Q♥10♦5♦ flop, which both players checked. Cutler then picked his betting lead back up, putting in a wager of 1,200 on the 7♠ turn, which Roach called.

Cutler bet a bigger size of 4,100 on the 3♠ river, and a curious Roach made the call.

Cutler flipped over his A♥A♦, and Roach mucked his hand.

Heads-up on a flop of J♥6♣3♠, Eugene Moss bet 5,000 from early position before Kenny Sung raised to 34,000 in the hijack. Moss took a few minutes before calling for his last 30,100.

Sung let out a loud expletive once he found out he was dominated by Moss' kings. The board ran out 9♠2♦ and Moss doubled up.

"Nice call," a tablemate told him after the hand.

"Thanks. It probably should be a snap-call," Moss replied.

Akihiro Konishi made it 800 from early position and was met by a three-bet to 2,600 from Matias Scaffo in the middle position. When it folded back to Konishi, he decided he wanted to continue with a call.

The flop came down J♥8♥3♣ and Konishi checked. Scaffo bet 2,500, which Konishi called.

Konishi knuckled the action over to Scaffo again on the K♣ turn. Scaffo fired out a bet of 5,200, and Konishi opted to release his cards to the dealer.

Lashinski bet 1,200 and only Etayo called from the small blind.

Lahinski said "good call", before showing K♣9♣ for king high, and Etayo flipped over 8♠2♦ for two pair.

Nilton Barbosa faced a check-raise all-in from Jan-Henrik Westerhoff, and the decision took him so long that he called for the clock on himself.

The action started on the river with the board showing A♥7♥6♠3♥2♥. Westerhoff checked from the small blind, Barbosa bet 12,000.

Westerhoff moved all in with roughly 45,000 chips.

After taking so long and asking his tablemates to call the clock, Barbosa was given 30 seconds to act. He let the clock run out and his hand was declared dead.
