Barbero Forces a Fold from Lee

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

In a heads-up raised pot, the flop read A87 when Gustavo Barbero checked in the big blind to Jao Lee on the button who bet 3,500. Barbero called.

When the 6 landed on the turn, Barbero check-raised to 22,000 a bet of 8,000 from Lee. The latter tanked for a minute and called.

The river was the 10 and Barbero thought about his move before shoving, putting Lee at risk. Lee ended up folding his hand.

Hickman Moves in the Right Direction

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Adam Rude opened in early position to 3,500, which the player in the small blind called. Douglas Hickman then moved all in from the big blind for 34,000. Rude called, and the small blind player folded.

Douglas Hickman: AA All in
Adam Rude: 1010

The flop came a monotone 6Q4, but as both players held a club in their hand, the flush draw was irrelevant.

The turn 4 left Rude with one opportunity to find one of his two available outs, but the river J was no help, requiring him to pay Hickman his double-up.

Gunn Runs Out of Ammo

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sviatoslav Belov open-raised preflop from early position, and Aaron Gunn called in the small blind. Gunn check-called Belov's bets on the 3Q6 flop and 6 turn, after which the dealer put the 6 river on the felt.

Gunn checked for a third time, and Belov put his opponent all in for 27,500. After a small tank, Gunn called for his tournament life.

Belov tabled AQ for sixes full of queens, and Gunn left the tournament area after he had tabled A3 for sixes full of threes.

Gervin Leaves the Table in Awe

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Haruki Arita opened to 3,000 in the hijack and Sanchez Gervin three-bet to 6,000 on the button. Theo Gillis four-bet to 16,000 from the big blind and only Gervin called.

The flop fell 1044 and Gillis continued with a bet of 7,500. Gervin called and the 9 rolled off on the turn. Gillis fired out another bet of 26,000 and Gervin stuck around for the 8 on the river.

Gillis counted out a bet of 50,000 on the river and Gervin went into the tank for a couple of minutes before making the call. Gillis turned over AK for ace-high while Gervin made the call with 66. The table let out some big gasps in shock of Gervin's hero call with an underpair to the board.

"Don't Do It"

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Antonio Vargas raised to 3,500 and then faced a three-bet to 12,000 by Roger Fontes in the next seat, which he opted to call. They checked all the way to the K88102 river on which Vargas checked. Fontes bet 10,500 and that won the pot uncontested, as Vargas opted to fold.

"Don't do it," Vargas said when Fontes checked his cards once again - and ultimately revealed the A before stacking up the chips.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Colin Beveridge got his last 150,000 in the middle from the button as Steven Rivero put in at risk from the big blind.

Colin Beveridge: QQ All in
Steven Rivero: AA
