Nearing Night's End

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Who Can Three-Bet Doug?

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Doug Polk
Doug Polk

Doug Polk just arrived in the Bronze section for the last hour of the night, and immediately, Table 619 was where all the noise was coming from. Polk attempted to sneak in a couple of raises to no avail as he continuously got three-bet and was forced to fold.

However, Polk attempted a raise to 4,000 again in middle position and Randall Emmett called on the button. The action was on Nicholas Sena-Hopkins in the big blind who was lost in the shuffle and posed a dangerous question.

"What are we doing here?" he questioned as the dealer mentioned it was 4,000 to go.

"We're playing who can three-bet Doug? And you're all winning!" Polk responded.

Sena-Hopkins called and they went three ways to a flop of K84. Polk continued with a bet of 4,500 and both Emmett and Sena-Hopkins paused for a moment before releasing their cards.

"It's that hard to win, guys?! You have jack-high. Just fold!" Polk pleaded with the table.

Morgan Machina: QJ All in
Jason Bullock: AQ

The board ran out 86568 and ace-high was good for the pot to eliminate Machina from the tournament.

Perry Gets His Wish Eventually

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sean Perry
Sean Perry

Robert Kim raised to 5,000 with the QJ and was called by both players in the blinds including Sean Perry in the small blind and Anton Jancaj out of the big blind with the 32. The AK10 flop was checked to Kim and he bet 12,000. Perry called and Jancaj folded.

After the 7 turn, Perry checked again and Kim pushed all-in with the marginally covering stack.

"Jesus Christ man ... how much is it?" Perry asked more table chatter of Perry followed.

"You know why I am thinking about calling you? Because I can't lose in sports recently, I am up over a million the last couple of weeks. I am just giving you a gift," Perry concluded and called.

Sean Perry: A3 All in
Robert Kim: QJ

Perry needed a club to survive but found none on the 6 river to bow out in the last level of the night.

"Gee Gee buddy, couldn't have lost to a better person. Now I got my wish too and gonna get a cold shower," he said on the way out of the live stream table.

Finstein Loses Flip, Eliminated Shortly After

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Craig Bateman raised to 5,000 in middle position, picking up a call from the player directly to his left. Action was then on Michael Finstein, who moved all in for 79,500. Finstein then called off for his remaining 66,500, and the remaining player folded.

Craig Bateman: AK All in
Michael Finstein: 88

The flop 3AQ moved Bateman into the lead, and when the turn 7 hit, Finstein stood up.

The river 7 secured the pot for Bateman, and Finstein started to walk away from the table. He was called back, though, as he had a slightly larger stack than his opponent and wasn't out.

Unfortunately for Finstein, though, he wasn't able to spin his 13,000 back up, as he was eliminated a few hands later.

Zhou Wakes Up with the Ladies to Double

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Drew Gonzalez opened from the cutoff before Milad Oghabian jammed for 36,500 from the small blind. In the big blind, 2024 WSOP Super Main Event champion Yinan Zhou called all in with the smaller stack for 29,500, and Gonzalez folded quickly.

Yinan Zhou: QQ All in
Milad Oghabian: A10

Zhou woke up with a premium at the right time. Nothing changed on the 665 flop until the 10 turn gave Oghabian some additional outs. However, the river was the 6 and Zhou held on to more than double as he looks to make another deep run in his young career.

Sailor Silently Wins a Pot

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop between Kathy Liebert in the small blind, Ryuichiro Yamakawa in the big blind, and Brad Sailor in early position.

The flop read Q85 and action checked around to Sailor who bet 7,000 to see only Yamakawa call.

On the turn Q, both players checked to the river 6 where Yamakawa checked over to Sailor who bet 12,000.

Yamakawa called and mucked after seeing Sailor's KK for kings up. Sailor took in the pot without saying a word as he and Liebert are involved in a game of who will talk first.

Wilf Gets Handed a Gift

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Christopher Csik raised to 4,000 in early position and picked up a couple of callers along the way, including Bobby Boland on the button. Saar Wilf three-bet to 22,000 out of the big blind and Boland was the only player to call.

The flop came QJ6 and Wilf tossed in a couple of T-25,000 chips. Boland didn't take much time to call off the chips in front of him and the cards were tabled.

Bobby Boland: 44All in
Saar Wilf: KK

Boland was looking for two outs, but the K on the turn ruined all of those hopes after Wilf hit a set of kings. The 3 on the river was insignificant and Boland was sent to the rail.

Rocco Straightens Out Trudeau

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Rocco opened from the hijack and Jeffrey Trudeau called in the cutoff.

On the J96 flop, Rocco checked to Trudeau who bet 9,000 and Rocco stuck around with a call.

The 9 turn checked through to the 10 river which saw Rocco lead for just 5,000 and Trudeau quickly called. Rocco tabled KQ as he hit a gutter on the river to make a straight as he continues to stay involved late on Day 2.
