Jon Kyte opened to 9,000 from the button with A♥K♦ and received calls from Pat Lyons in the small blind with 9♦7♦ and Justin Smith in the big blind with K♥9♠.
The flop came 6♣7♥4♥. Lyons bet 10,500 with top pair, Smith folded and Kyte called with two overcards and the backdoor nut-flush draw.
Lyons continued for 25,500 on the 10♣ turn and Kyte snap-folded.
With around 42,000 in the pot and the board showing 10♠2♠Q♥K♦, Nitesh Rawtani checked it over to Justin Lapka, who tossed out a bet of 15,000. Rawtani made the call, taking them to the river.
The 8♠ completed the board, and Rawtani checked once more. Lapka took his time before deciding to check back, bringing the hand to a showdown.
Rawtani revealed Q♠J♦ for a pair of queens and a missed straight draw, but Lapka turned over A♠A♦ for the overpair, good enough to take the pot. Rawtani was left with less than a starting stack as Lapka dragged in the chips.
David Benyamine jammed 54,000 from the button and in the small blind, Jakub Michalak called.
David Benyamine: A♦9♠
Jakub Michalak: J♥J♦
The board ran out J♣8♥4♥Q♣K♦ and the WSOP bracelet winner took his leave from the tournament.
Loni Hui kicked the action off with a raise to 8,000 in middle position. Directly to her left, Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 30,000, leaving a sole 500 chip behind. The play folded back to Hui, who moved all in, and Negreanu called.
Daniel Negreanu: K♦Q♥
Loni Hui: 8♥8♣
"All I have to do is win a flip", said Negreanu.
The flop came down 3♦Q♠7♥, and it was a good start for Negreanu. The turn J♦ and river Q♣ improved him to trips, providing him a double up.
Gregory Dyer opened to 9,000 from the button and Jon Kyte defended from the big blind.
The flop came 6♥K♣Q♠ and Kyte check-called an 8,000 continuation bet from Dyer.
Both players checked the A♦ turn and J♣ river. Dyer was playing the board with 5♠4♥ while Kyte had third pair with Q♦9♣ to take the pot.
Daniel Negreanu opened to 8,000 in early position and Simon Levy three-bet to 25,000 in the small blind. Negreanu pulled out his selfie stick and said "this means I've decided" before four-bet jamming a stack of 53,000. Levy called.
Daniel Negreanu: 9♥9♦
Simon Levy: A♥Q♠
"Okay, we're ahead," Negreanu said when his opponent turned over ace-queen.
The flop of 4♣8♠K♥ didn't change anything, but the 10♥ turn gave Levy additional outs with a Broadway draw. However, the Q♣ river was all he needed to send the Poker Hall of Famer to the rail.
"Ay ay ay. GG. Main Event done," Negreanu said as he left.
