Chen Aces Up

Xingwei Chen opened from under the gun, and action folded to Qiang Wang on the button, who made it 80,000. Chen didn't hesitate and shoved it all in, putting Wang at risk. He made the call, and the cards went on their backs.

Wang needed some help from the board, and the flop and turn gave him a few more outs for a possible straight draw with 56J7. But the river brought the A, giving Chen a set and eliminating Wang.

Buckingham Shakes Hobold Off the Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Richard Buckingham opened to 25,000 and got two callers in Douglas Hobold on the button, and Ryan Biermann in the big blind.

The trio saw a flop of KQ8. Biermann checked prompting Buckingham to continue with 45,000. Hobold called but Bierman decided he'd seen enough and folded.

The turn J fell and Buckingham kept up the pressure with a 60,000, which Hobold called once again.

Not letting up, Buckingham fired 125,000, finally shaking Hobold off the pot.

Yanagida's Turn to Survive a Flip

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Goh Yanagida moved all in for 273,000 from early position and Valentin Antoine put him at risk in middle position.

It was another big flip, and Yanagida spiked top set on the J97 flop to leave Antoine drawing thin. The rest of the board ran out 52 and Yanagida doubled up.

Sepiol Pips Dauphinas to Double

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In a preflop confrontation Dan Sepiol was all in for 275,000 from middle position and up against Stephen Dauphinais who covered him from the hijack.

Sepiol stayed ahead with the dominating ace on the 3292J runout to double through Dauphinas.

Hollenberg Wins a Pot

Yaniv Peretz opened to 20,000 in middle position and got one caller in Michael Hollenberg in the cutoff.

The dealer flopped 105A which both players checked. Peretz checked the turn 10. Hollenberg fired 22,000 which was enought to take the pot down.

Jung Adds Even More Chips to His Mountain

Chahn Jung made it 20,000 from middle position and only Tyler Hancock called out of the big blind.

Hancock started with a check on the 37J flop, allowing Jung to bet 17,000. Hancock check-raised to 50,000, which was quickly called by Jung.

The 4 turn received two checks, as did the 6 river. Hancock turned over a bluff with Q9, and lost the pot to Jung's 88 for a pair of eights.

Sangha Arrives and Departs

Harsukhpaul Sangha just got moved to a new table and didn't take long to wager his entire stack of 113,000.

"You just got here," Justin Belforti said before looking at his cards.

"I don't know how you play so I'm just playing the value of my cards," Sangha replied.

Belforti just called and the rest of the table folded as the two hands were tabled.

The flop came K63 and Sangha maintained his lead with a pair of eights. The 4 on the turn gave Belforti a flush draw and that flush came in on the 5 river to eliminate Sangha as quickly as he arrived.

Grabel Heroes Correctly to Double

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kevin Grabel limped in from the small blind and Arie Kliper checked from the big blind.

The flop came Q23. Grabel bet 12,000 and Kliper called.

Grabel checked the 6 turn, Kliper bet 38,000 and Grabel called. On the A river Grabel checked, Kliper shoved and Grabel called with his remaining stack of 135,000.

Kliper had a missed combo draw with J5 while Grabel had 96 for just a pair of sixes to win the hand.

Clee & Kassouf Check it Down

Matthew Hunt made it 20,000 under the gun with Will Kassouf calling from middle position, and Terence Clee calling on the button.

The action checked to Clee on the K5J flop and he bet 20,000. Hunt folded, but Kassouf called.

The 4 came on the turn and both players checked to see the 4 hit the river. Two more checks followed, and Kassouf turned over 66 for a pair of sixes. Clee had that beat with J10 for a pair of jacks, and the pot was pushed to him.
