2025 World Series of Poker
Anton Beno started the action with a raise to 40,000 under the gun, and only Waheed Feda made the call on the button.
The dealer laid out a Q♦Q♣8♣ flop, and when Beno continued for 25,000, Feda called again.
Beno kept hold of the betting lead on the K♦ turn, putting out 75,000. Undeterred, Feda called again.
The river 4♦ then caused fireworks. Beno fired again, this time for 105,000, and Feda almost immediately moved all in. Beno made an even quicker call and delivered the bad news to Feda.
Feda turned over his A♦9♦, revealing he had rivered a flush, but Beno had turned top full house with his K♣K♥.
A nasty river for Feda, but as the shorter of the two stacks, he was eliminated from the tournament.
Daniel Erlandsson made it 40,000 under the gun and Peter Park jammed for 290,000 from middle position. Erlandsson immediately called to put Park at rsk.
Peter Park: 7♠7♣
Daniel Erlandsson :A♣K♠
Park needed to win this flip to have a chance of returning on Day 5. The flop came J♣5♥4♠, keeping Park's pair in the lead. The 4♦ turn gave Erlandsson a straight draw, and the river was the A♥, which improved Erlandsson to top pair. Park wished the table good luck as he packed his bag and left the tournament area.
Tony Gregg raised to 40,000 as first to act. Richard Freitas called on the button before Yulian Bogdanov made it 200,000 to go in the small blind.
Gregg clicked it back to 440,000, which received quick folds from Freitas and Bogdanov as Gregg was shipped the pot.
Xingwei Chen raised to 40,000 under the gun and Amit Sharma three-bet to 110,000 in early position. David Carter then four-bet to 220,000 in middle position and only Sharma called.
The flop came K♣3♥6♦ and Carter bet 130,000. Sharma called and the 2♣ fell on the turn.
The clock had run out on the massage Sharma was receiving, and he got out of his seat to pay his masseuse while Carter was busy shoving his last 350,000 in the middle. Sharma finished handing over the money, then sat back down and quickly tossed his cards into the muck.
Will Kassouf opened to 55,000 from the cutoff and Greg Merson called from the button.
The flop came 4♦3♣2♦ and Merson called a 75,000 continuation bet from Kassouf.
Kassouf fired a second barrel for 140,000 on the 4♣ tun and Merson called again.
Kassouf bet 300,000 on the 8♠ river and Merson called.
Merson had hero-called with A♣Q♣ after missing the nut-flush draw but Kassouf had him beat with 7♦7♣ to take down the sizable pot.
Adam Hendrix opened to 40,000 and faced a shove from Carlos Loving in the big blind for his remaining 310,000. Hendrix made the call, and the cards went on their backs.
Carlos Loving: 6♣6♠
Adam Hendrix: A♠9♥
Hendrix took the lead right on the flop of A♣3♥J♥, pairing his ace. The 9♣ on the turn gave him two pair and left Loving drawing thin. The 8♠ river sealed it, sending Loving to the rail as Hendrix stacked the pot.
James Calderaro had gotten his stack of 670,000 in before the flop from the hijack against Arie Kliper in the small blind, and he was the player at risk.
James Calderaro: A♥K♠
Arie Kliper: 10♠10♥
The 6♣Q♥3♦9♠8♠ board remained free of aces and kings, setting Calderaro's elimination in stone. Calderaro calmly finished his drink and shook hands with the dealer and his former opponents before leaving the tournament area.
Chad Bleznick raised the button and Thomas Eychenne called from the small blind.
Eychenne led out for 40,000 on the 5♥7♣6♥ flop, and was met by a raise to roughly 140,000 by Bleznick. Eychenne called.
The J♥ turn checked through for the 3♣ to fall on the river. Eychenne led out for 90,000, and Bleznick called.
Eychenne showed a set with 5x5x, but lost the pot to Bleznick's rivered straight with K♠4♥.
Albert Calderon raised it up in middle position and was called by Adam Hendrix in the cutoff and Adam Agaev in the small blind. The flop came K♠7♣6♥ and Calderon continued with a bet of 50,000. Hendrix raised to 165,000 which put Agaev in the tank for nearly two minutes before he folded. Calderon called and they went heads-up to the J♥ on the turn.
Calderon checked this time and Hendrix counted out a bet of 295,000. Calderon quickly dumped his cards into the muck but pleaded to see at least one of Hendrix's cards. Hendrix slid his cards into the middle but Calderon failed to pick one before the dealer put them in the muck.
