Moore Leaves Fewster with Fewer Chips

Henry Fewster was the first to act and opened to 60,000. The table folded around to Mathew Moore in the small blind, who opted to raise to 220,000. Fewster stewed on his decision before he called.

Both players checked on the 4♥4♣J♠ flop.

The J♣ prompted Moore to bet 250,000, which led to a fold from Fewster.

Skogrand Doubles Through Merson

Corey Skogrand made it 60,000 to go from early position, and Greg Merson three-bet to 165,000 in the cutoff. When it got back to Skogrand, he shoved 405,000, and Merson quickly called.

Skogrand was well ahead with his cowboys, and the flop of 10♣9♠4♣ kept him in the lead. Merson did turn a flush draw with the 5♣, but Skogrand survived as the 3♠ filled out the board.

Bigot Needs Some Thinking Time

Alessandro Predaroli limped in from the small blind with 8♠6♣, and Fabrice Bigot checked his option in the big blind with 10♥3♥. The Q♣6♥2♦ flop checked through to the 6♦ turn, where Predaroli check-called Bigot's bet of 75,000.

Predaroli also checked the 10♣ river, prompting Bigot to size up to 180,000. Predaroli then put him all in for 755,000, sending Bigot into the tank.

After a few minutes in the tank, Bigot correctly folded his hand as Predaroli raked in the chips without showing his trips.

Popvych held a commanding lead as they headed to the runout, but the 7♥8♠3♥ flop gave Melnyk plenty to work with as they went to the final two streets.

The 6♣ kept Popvych in the lead, but the 5♥ river resulted in a flush for Melnyk to crack Popvych's kings to stay in the tournament.

Buckingham Pulls Off a Big Bluff Against Vecino; Wintersberger Shoves on Manokharan

Juan Carlos Vecino and Richard Buckingham had built a pot of around 500,000 as they went heads-up to the 4♣4♥4♠ flop. Vecino then bet 225,000 from the cutoff.

Buckingham was in the hijack and tanked for several minutes before moving all in for around 2,000,000. Vecino quickly folded and Buckingham showed 9♣8♣ while taking in the pot. "Sorry. I just felt like you had ace-king," Buckingham told him after the hand.

At another table, David Wintersberger bet 200,000 from the big blind on a board of 10♥6♥10♠J♠ and Murly Manokharan called under the gun.

The river was the 10♣ and Wintersberger moved all in for 400,000. Manokharan thought about the decision for a few minutes but eventually folded.

Eychenne checked to Oluwole who continued with a bet of 110,000 and Eychenne called. The 5♠ landed on the turn and both players checked to the Q♥ on the river. Eychenne announced all in and Oluwole quickly folded, leaving himself with around 10 big blinds.

Kou Vang staged his chips and announced all-in for 520,000 from the cutoff. Garner called, while Umerova flashed AxJx and mucked her hand to send Vang and Garner to a showdown with Vang at risk.
