Dmitrii Perfilev raised to 50,000 from under the gun and Josselin Gardes shoved 240,000 from the cutoff. After some time thinking it over, Perfilev called.

Gardes had the best of it with Big Slick, but had a lot more outs to fade as the 9♦10♦9♥ flop gave Perfilev a flush draw. A 3♣ on the turn was no help, and the 10♣ on the river meant they chopped up the pot.

"I'll take it," said Gardes at the end of the hand.

Isaac Haxton raised to 50,000 in the hijack with K♠7♠. Alessandro Predaroli flat-called in the cutoff with K♥10♥, and Fabrice Bigot's 7♥7♦ on the button came along as well.

Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind with 5♥5♦, after which the Q♦Q♠4♠ flop was dealt. It checked to Haxton, who bet the minimum of 25,000. Predaroli folded, Bigot called, and Chidwick check-called.

The A♥ turn was then checked to Bigot, who fired 160,000. Chidwick folded his pocket pair, but Haxton check-raised to 350,000. After some time in the tank, Bigot let go of the best hand, shipping the pot to Haxton.

Nicholas Danias raised to 50,000 from early position and was called by Yuya Sakamoto. Octavian Voegele chose to call from the hijack before Brian Tolley decided to go all in for 400,000 even.

Steven Alper elected to call Tolley's all in. The rest of the table folded after some deliberation to take Tolley and Alper to a showdown.

Tolley was behind with a dominated king, but the flop gave him plenty of equity when it fanned out 2♣6♣5♦.

Dong Chen raised to 380,000 under the gun, leaving himself just one 5,000 chip behind, and Paul DiMascio reshoved in the hijack. The table folded back around to Chen who checked the clock to see how many players were left before tossing in his last chip.

"Please," DiMascio pleaded going to the 7♠6♥3♥ flop. "Oh God," he added as he missed the 4♦ turn, but the A♥ river gave him top pair and the bustout.

"Yes!" he shouted out, lifting his arms into the air. "Sorry, I get a little too emotional," he said to his tablemates while Chen was sent to the rail.

"I get emotional, too. You're Spanish, you're bred to be emotional," tablemate Richard Buckingham said to Juan Carlos Vecino.

"But I don't show it at the table," Vecino added.

On a low flop of 6♥6♣4♥, Gardes check-called a bet of 30,000 from Luis to the 3♥ turn, where this time Gardes check-folded when Luis threw in 190,000.

In the next hand, Luis raised to 50,000 in the cutoff holding A♣6♣ and Greg Merson called on the button with 8♠8♣.

A flop of 5♥3♣7♠ hit the felt and Luis fired 30,000, only to be met with a raise to 105,000 from Merson. Luis called.

When the 9♥ came on the turn, Luis checked and Merson bet 155,000 with his pair of eights. Luis had a double gutter, and put in a check-raise to 350,000, which got a snap-fold from Merson.

Haxton spent some time in the tank before he four-bet all in, covering Predaroli. Predaroli quickly folded as Haxton won the pot without showdown.

Joshua Abiscott and Matija Kajtez took turns with some preflop raises before Abiscott found himself all in and at risk for around 800,000. The cards were tabled and it was a cooler that saw Kajtez in the lead.

However, the flop came K♣6♥2♠ and Abiscott let out a roar after spiking a set of kings. "King! That's the king, baby! Come on!"

The 6♠ and 5♣ completed the board and Abiscott held on for a double up.
