The turn was the J and Chornyy led out for 250,000. Sorrentino then moved all in for 800,000, and Chornyy snap-called.

Sorrentino had KQ and needed to improve as Chornyy showed 97 for a straight. The 9 came on the river to give Sorrentino a higher straight and earn him the double-up.

Greg Merson limped in on the button and Leo Margets raised to 255,000 in the small blind. Daniel Becker stuck in a three-bet from the big blind and Merson quickly folded. Margets four-bet shoved all in for 1,675,000 and Becker asked for a count before making the call.

They were off to the races and Margets held the lead through the 772 flop. The Q on the turn and the 9 on the river were also safe as Margets doubled through the bigger stack of Becker.

Beckenstein Chips Up Against Nguyen

Picking up the action on the three-way turn of KK58, Arsenii Karmatckii checked out of the small blind and Thi Xoa Nguyen bet 350,000 in the big blind. Joshua Beckenstein called in the cutoff and Karmatckii folded.

The 5 on the river was checked and Beckenstein won the pot with AA, while Nguyen mucked.

Adrien Zychowski opened to 100,000 from under the gun and was called by Octavian Voegele in the cutoff and Ryan Law in the big blind. The flop came 1053 and the action checked to Zychowski, who continued with a bet. Vogele just called and Law check-raised all in for around 500,000. Zychowski folded, but Voegele had an easy call to make.

Darkin was the only caller as they headed to the Q turn on which Pudel checked. Darkin pushed all-in with the covering stack and Pudel quickly folded.

Heads-up to a 7J3 flop that saw Conrado Francisco check from the big blind, and Kenny Hallaert bet 160,000 from under the gun. Francisco opted to check-raise to 350,000. Hallaert paused briefly before making the call.

With around a million in the pot, the two players checked the 7 turn to see the 9 roll off on the river. Francisco checked for the last time, allowing Hallaert to bet 650,000. Francisco didn't take long to return his cards to the dealer, and surrender the pot to Hallaert.
