Andres Carrera made it 40,000 from the small blind and [Removed:548] three-bet the big blind to 120,000. Carrera called.
Carrera check-called a bet of 65,000 on the 4♣2♠2♥ flop and then tapped the table again when the 7♠ landed on the turn. [Removed:549] then slid out 190,000, which was enough to earn him the pot as Carrera folded.
Steven Snyder was on the button with a raise of 125,000 in front of him before Chih Fan reraised to 275,000 in early position. Snyder then put in 475,000 and Fan turned around to look at the tournament clock before moving all in for 985,000. Snyder snap-called.

Around 2,000,000 was at stake as Fan found out the bad news when Snyder turned over his two aces. Fan was already standing up from his seat as the K♠9♠3♦ flop gave him a glimmer of hope with a pair, while the turn was the 2♦. Left with just two outs to stay alive, Fan found one on the K♦ river to make trips and earn the massive double up.
"Wow!" Fan yelled out as he stood statue-like in a state of shock with his mouth agape.
"That's PokerStars. Absolutely golden," tablemate Will Kassouf added. Snyder could only shake his head in frustration as he handed over the pot.
Peter Ng raised to 40,000 and every single player behind him called as they went five ways to the K♣9♥8♠ flop. The action checked to Leon Sturm on the button and he bet 40,000. Rahul Deevara then check-raised to 115,000 in the big blind and Sturm was the only caller.
Deevara bet the J♥ turn for 425,000 and that covered the remaining stack of Sturm, who opted to fold.
In a duel small blind versus cutoff, the completed board showed K♥Q♣3♦4♠9♦ and Martin Gerloff checked out of the small blind. Josh Reichard in the cutoff fired a bet of 525,000 and that sent his opponent deep into the tank.
The decision was for half of his stack and Gerloff eventually folded and mucked his cards. He wanted to show them as they landed near the muck, went there to grab them and exposed the A♥K♠.
Pedro Padilha opened to 40,000 in middle position and Igor Holdaiy called in the small blind. Jorge Ribeiro shoved all in for his last 90,000 in the big blind which opened the door for Padilha to reshove all in. Holdaiy deliberated for a minute but decided to lay his hand down.

The flop came J♦7♠6♥ and Ribeiro picked up the lone pair to take the lead. The 2♣ on the turn changed nothing but the A♠ on the river gave Padilha the better pair to eliminate his countryman.
Vytautas Semaska opened to 40,000 from the cutoff before Chyan Pu Huang opted to raise to 130,000 from the small blind.
Semaska gave it some thought before he chose to put in all his chips for 520,000. Huang did not think long before he folded.
Fabian Rolli got his last 400,000 or so into the middle preflop from the button, with Mounir Tajiou being the player trying to bust him from an early position.

Rolli looked poised to head to the cashier's desk as he was up against the best starting hand in the game. The board ran out 9♦A♠10♦8♣10♣, which may have given Rolli trips, but that was second best to the full house of Tajiou.
Heads-up on a board of 9♠5♣6♣Q♠ and around 300,000 in the pot, Scott Margereson bet 225,000 from the hijack and Seunghyun Nam moved all in for 850,000 in middle position. Margereson snap-called.
Nam had J♣10♣ for straight and flush draws, while Margereson showed 5♥5♦ for a set. The river was the 3♦ and Nam missed everything as Margereson scooped in his chips.
