"Just an ace," Eric Afriat said as the flop landed 10♥A♣4♠ to give Nargentino his ace while also giving Ramsey Broadway outs. The Q♦ turn gave Ramsey the straight as the 2♣ river confirmed Nargentino's elimination.

Yuto Misaka raised all in from the cutoff before Patrick McKelvey shoved for less with a total of 365,000 to put himself at risk against Misaka.

McKelvey held the lead, but the flop did bring some chop outs as it came J♠J♣K♠.

The 6♣ turn brought some more chop outs, but the 3♥ river was clean for McKelvey to award him the double.

Sam Darkin raised to 100,000 in the hijack and Alex Lynskey defended from the big blind. The flop came 7♥5♥2♠ and both players checked to the 4♦ on the turn.

Lynskey led out with a bet of 90,000 and Darkin called to see the J♣ on the river. Lynskey fired out another bet of 125,000 and Darkin looked him up. Lynskey turned over K♠3♣ for king-high and Darkin showed K♣8♥ for a better king-high to claim the pot.

Wysotchanski Puts Shutley in the Blender

Mark Shutley opened to 110,000 from early position with A♠A♣ and received calls from Wagner Wysotchanski in the cutoff with 7♠7♣, Lautaro Guerra in the small blind with A♥10♥ and Benjamin Winsor in the big blind with Q♦J♠.

The flop came 7♦8♥6♠ and action checked around to Wysotchanski who bet 250,000. Guerra folded, Winsor folded and Shutley check-raised to 775,000. Wysotchanski shoved, covering Shutley who had 1,400,000 behind.

Shutley went deep into the tank for nearly ten minutes before folding his aces and Wysotchanski took the pot down without showdown.

Braxton Dunaway raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Brian Hastings three-bet to 325,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Dunaway called to see a flop of 10♠6♣5♠. Dunaway checked to Hastings who continued with a bet of 225,000 and Dunaway called.

The turn brought the Q♦ and Dunaway checked again. Hastings counted out a bet of 600,000 and Dunaway check-raised all in for around 2,500,000. Hastings gave it some thought and then called off his stack of around 2,400,000 which Dunaway barely had covered.

Hastings turned top pair but was drawing dead against the set from Dunaway. Hastings exited the tournament area and Dunaway joined the leaders near the end of Day 5.

Overton had picked up aces against Mutsuura's kings and was poised for the double-up as the A♦6♣5♠ flop improved him to top set. Mutsuura was already drawing dead after the 8♥ turn, while the J♦ completed the board on the river and sealed Overton's double-up.
