Dmitrii Perfilev opened to 50,000 from the cutoff and Richard Pyne shoved 210,000 on the button. When it got back to Perfilev, he called.

Pyne was looking for a snowman to keep his Main Event dream alive, but they were all but melted away when the 2♠2♥A♣ flop hit the table. A 10♣ on the turn left him drawing dead, with the 3♠ filling out the board.

Fabrice Bigot made it 55,000 in the hijack with A♣9♣. Stephen Chidwick called on the button with 3♥3♣, and Joey Padron defended his big blind with K♠10♠.
It checked to Chidwick on the J♣A♦7♥ flop, who decided to wager 100,000. Padron and Bigot both called to the 6♣ turn, which checked through.
The 9♥ river completed the board. Padron checked, Bigot bet 175,000 with his two pair, and Chidwick and Padron quickly folded to ship the pot to Bigot.

"That's gonna be tough," Tricarico noted as he filmed the 5♠5♥A♦ flop make Cooper a full house. Tricarico was drawing dead after the Q♥ turn, and Cooper raked in his double-up on the 7♥ river.

Leon Sturm raised to 50,000 in middle position and Fraser MacIntyre three-bet in the hijack. Sturm called.
Sturm checked on the flop of 7♣6♣4♦ and MacIntyre continued for 80,000. Sturm check-raised to 190,000 and MacIntyre called.
Sturm then moved all in for around 400,000 on the K♠ turn and MacIntyre called.

Sturm was ahead with two pair and nothing changed on the J♥ river to earn the German prodigy a double.

The flop came 8♦4♦2♠ and Kyriakides improved to a pair of fours to hold his lead. The J♦ and 9♦ runout changed nothing and Kyriakides held on for a double up through the big stack of Kottler.

On the heads-up turn of J♥10♠3♦A♠, Simon Levy checked and then faced a bet of 350,000 by Scott Margereson. He opted to shove, and Margereson instantly folded.

Will Kassouf and Chih Fan had gone to the river with the board showing 4♣8♥K♦5♦3♦. Kassouf then bet 100,000 from the big blind and Fan raised to 450,000 in early position.
Kassouf took a minute before Sam Jakubowicz called the clock, a decision that Kassouf vehemently disagreed with. "He called the clock after one minute. If if was five minutes, fine," Kassouf protested.
"You can't cry wolf," tablemate Steven Snyder added.
"Did you hear his new nickname? He's Will 'the Human Rain Delay' Kassouf," Anthony Ruberto said.
Kassouf continued to argue that he hadn't been given enough time. "I have a decision here. You can look at my hand," he said to the tournament official who arrived at the table to begin his 30-second countdown.
"It's nuts or nothing," Kassouf eventually said as he flashed the K♠ and mucked. The floor then alerted Kassouf that his timer would be shortened if he continues to stall.

After an apparent preflop mistake from Jesse Simon, he and Arie Kliper had created a pot of 375,000 going to the 9♣7♣5♠ flop. Simon then pushed all in for 230,000, which Kliper quickly called.
