Flowers Surrenders to Deevara After a 10-Minute Tank

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Rahul Deevara raised to 160,000 under the gun and picked up four callers.

The flop came 1062 and Deevara bet 380,000. Only Frank Flowers on the button called.

Deevara checked the 8 turn and Flowers bet 1,175,000. Deevara then moved all in for 3,660,000.

The rest of the field had already left for break as Flowers went deep into the tank. "It's 50-50 right now," he said, standing up from his seat and pacing around before sitting back down and buring his face in his hands.

Around 10 minutes went by before Flowers threw his cards into the muck. "Show for the cameras?" Deevara asked, and Flowers allowed the dealer to expose his Q10.

"I had a lot of outs," Deevara added, turning over KJ as the two players headed off on a shortened break.
