Heads-up on a flop of 5♠J♠3♣, Rene-Charles Angelil bet 105,000 from under the gun and Johan Schumacher called in the big blind.
Both players checked the J♣ turn. Schumacher then led out for 190,000 on the K♦ river and Angelil called.
Schumacher showed K♥5♦ for two pair, and Angelil mucked.
Thi Xoa Nguyen opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Adam Hendrix called in middle position.
Nguyen checked on the flop of 7♦5♠Q♣ and Hendrix checked back. Nguyen checked again on the 5♥ turn and Hendrix bet 125,000. Nguyen called.
Nguyen checked once more on the K♣ river and Hendrix checked back. Nguyen showed A♠Q♥ for a pair of queens and it was good to win the pot.
In one of the first hands of the day, Eric Bunch moved all in from middle position for 380,000 and was quickly called by Dillon Ott from the big blind.

Ott's pair of queens remained best and he secured the elimination after the J♠5♠2♦6♠6♣ runout.
Hieu Le shoved all in for 825,000 from under the gun and Alex Lynskey reshoved all in on the button. The blinds folded and the two hands were tabled.

Lynskey was in a dominating position and the flop of K♣J♣4♦ left it that way after he hit a pair of kings. Le picked up a straight draw and wasted no time as the 10♠ peeled off on the turn, leaving Lynskey drawing dead to the 3♠ on the river.
William Camp raised to 120,000 under the gun before Leo Margets three-bet to 360,000 from the next seat. Joshua Abiscott four-bet jammed for 730,000 from the button, and Camp folded, A♥J♦, but Margets called to put Abiscott at risk.

Margets had the Ladies and just needed to avoid an ace to send Abiscott home.
The dealer revealed a flop of Q♠9♠6♣ to put Margets firmly in the lead with top set. The 2♠ turn gave Abiscott a flush draw, but he missed it on the 3♣ river. The pot was pushed to Margets, and Abiscott was out.
Adam Bishop raised to 160,000 from the hijack with Charles Lee calling from the cutoff and Jamie O'Connor calling out of the small blind. Brian Arbaugh squeezed all in for 1,300,000 from the big blind, which got Bishop to tank fold. Lee took a few moments and made the call, while O'Connor got out of the way.

In the first orbit of Day 6, Arbaugh found himself all-in and at risk in a flip. The 2♠6♠5♦ flop kept Lee ahead with two eights. The J♦ turn offered Arbaugh a flush draw, but the 10♠ river was a blank. The pot was pushed to Lee, and Arbaugh headed for an early shower.
Jefferson Guerrero jammed for 205,000 from the cutoff and was called by Rodrigo Jim in the small blind as well as Amadeus Janotta in the big blind. On the K♥K♦2♦ flop, Jim checked and then folded when Janotta bet 225,000.

The 3♣ turn left Guerrero drawing dead to make the 5♠ river a formality.
Bruno Furth raised to 125,000 in early position and Murly Manokharan called on the button before Sejo Kasic three-bet in the big blind. Furth four-bet jammed and Manokharan folded before Kasic called with a stack of around 1,300,000.

Furth had run into aces and couldn't improve as the board ran out 6♦Q♣2♥3♦9♣ to earn Kasic an early double.
Will Kassouf showed up 10 minutes late for the day and got to work stacking up the big pile of chips in front of his seat.
"Tower of marbles. We're only halfway through the tournament. We just finished Day 5. It's a 10-day tournament. I don't know why people are going bat-shit crazy right now. There's a long way to go," Kassouf said.
Meanwhile, Ruben Costa had opened to 120,000 in early position and Anthony Augustino called in the big blind.
Costa continued for 80,000 on the Q♠Q♣2♦ flop and Augustino called. Costa then bet 120,000 on the J♥ turn and Augustino again called.
The river was the 9♥ and Costa moved all in for 765,000. Augustino took a minute before laying down his hand.
"Show the bluff. Good for the game," Kassouf said to Costa, but Costa returned his cards face down and took in the pot.
Sergio Veloso raised to 120,000 from early position with Mitchell Hynam calling on the button, and Bradley Jansen defending his big blind.
Jansen checked first on the 9♦4♣K♥ flop, and Veloso bet 135,000. Only Hynam slid in the call.
Two checks followed the 2♠ turn for the A♥ to reveal itself on the river. Veloso checked, and then faced a bet of 330,000 by Hynam. Veloso thought better of it and folded, allowing Hynam to pull in the pot.
