Buhaiov Jams the Turn

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Nazar Buhaiov
Nazar Buhaiov

Nazar Buhaiov raised to 200,000 with A4 from middle position, and only Matija Kajtez called from the small blind with QJ.

Kajtez checked after the dealer fanned out the JA4 flop, and Buhaiov bet 200,000. Kajtez stuck around with a call.

The 3 hit the turn, and Kajtez checked again. Buhaiov paused for a few moments and then shoved his 550,000 into the middle. Kajtez did some inventory of his stack and mulled it over for a while before deciding to fold and surrender the pot to Buhaiov.

How Much Does It Cost? Kassouf Lays His Price

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Will Kassouf
Will Kassouf

Will Kassouf was in the middle of rambling on and on while the other players at the table sat in silence. Richard Green just shoved his short stack into the middle with A2 but only picked up the blinds and ante. Green then posed a question to Kassouf in the middle of his sentence.

"Let me ask you a question. Do you like money?" Green asked.

"Ya, I like money," Kassouf responded.

"How much do we have to chip in for you to shut the f*** up? Anyone else want to chip in?"

"Now we're talking," Kassouf rambled as words flew out of his mouth at a mile a minute.

"Eighty-nine minutes left in the level, how much for you to be quiet for the rest of the level?" Green proposed.

"$10,000 each. A freeroll for me and my seven buddies," Kassouf answered. "For 10k each, put your money where your mouth is."

The banter went back and forth for a few more minutes but no deal was made at that time.

"Shut the f*** up!" Another player from the field shouted across the room.

Two Barrels Work for Delmas

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Adrien Delmas raised to 200,000 and was called by Braxton Dunaway in the small blind as well as Don Carrillo in the big blind. The two larger stacks checked the AQ4 flop and Delmas bet 150,000. Dunaway folded and Carrillo called.

It was at that moment some commotion broke out on the left hand feature table with Will Kassouf arguing loudly that it could be heard in the tournament area. Mitchell Hynam in the #1 seat at this very table shouted "Will, shut the fuck up!" and the tournament director came over to speak a few words with Hynam.

"What is my penalty if I punch him?" Hynam inquired with the floor and was told that it would be at least a 24-hour ban.

In the meanwhile, the 4 turn was checked to the 10 river on which Carrillo checked again. Delmas bet 750,000 and won the pot uncontested.

Kyle Grupp
Kyle Grupp

Sam Darkin made it 200,000 from the hijack with only Kyle Grupp calling out of the cutoff.

After seeing the 74A flop fall, Darkin put out a continuation-bet of 300,000, which Grupp quickly called.

The 6 turn caused Darkin to slow down and check. Grupp bet 780,000, and after some tanking, Darkin called.

Darkin knuckled the table for the last time on the 8 river. Grupp gathered together a bet of 1,300,000, which Darkin called.

Grupp had backed into the nut straight with 109 to take down the pot, as Darkin tossed away his A8 for a rivered two pair.
