Jameson Painter
Jameson Painter

On the river of a 976K6 board, Jameson Painter bet 700,000 out of the big blind. Yuchen Chen was his only opponent by then who then raised to 1,800,000. Painter reluctantly called and mucked when he was shown the K6 for a full house.

Painter was left with only one big blind and jammed that out of the small blind when it was checked to him, Corey Skogrand didn't even need to call in the big blind as it was for exactly 120,000.

Corey Skogrand: Q8

The 108782 board gave Skogrand trips eights and Painter was eliminated.

Vecino Fills Up on Carrillo; Perfilev Comes to Rue His Fold

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Don Carrillo
Don Carrillo

Dmitrii Perfilev bet 560,000 from under the gun on a flop of 1034 and Juan Carlos Vecino called in the cutoff. Don Carrillo then moved all in for 5,240,000 in the small blind.

Perfilev had around 2,000,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes before Carrillo called the clock. Perfilev eventually folded, but Vecino snap-called.

Don Carrillo: A8 All in
Juan Carlos Vecino: 44

Vecino showed a set, while Carrillo had a flush draw. The K turn was no help to Carrillo, while the K river improved Vecino to a full house and earned him the knockout.

Perfilev shot out of his seat at the sight of the rivered king and let out a loud yell. He later admitted he laid down two kings and would've made quads.

Two in a Row for Perati

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Leon Sturm raised to 240,000 in the hijack with AQ and was called by Daehyung Lee in the cutoff with 109 and Muhamet Perati in the big blind with K5. The dealer spread the flop of K83 and the action checked around to the 5 on the turn and the 2 on the river.

Three more checks and Perati turned over his two pair which was far and away the best hand.

On the next hand, Perati limped in from the small blind with A3 and Kohei Arai raised to 480,000 in the big blind with 66. Perati called and the flop of 933 hit the felt.

Perati checked to Arai who continued with a bet of 325,000 and Perati called. The turn brought the A and both players checked to the 2 on the river. Perati led out with a small bet of 275,000 and Arai eventually paid him off.

Furth Soul Reads Schumacher

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Yita Bruno Furth
Yita Bruno Furth

Picking up the action on the AJ4 flop, Bruno Furth in the big blind checked and then called a bet of 350,000 by Johan Schumacher on the button. Both checked the 8 on the turn and the 3 came on the river.

Furth checked again and Schumacher now bet 850,000. After a couple of seconds only, Furth called and was shown the Q10 by Schumacher. Furth had that beat with the K10 and raked in the pot with his king-high.

"Bruno, what's up?" the newly arrived Maksim Pisarenko asked with a grin.
