Margets Wins the Pot

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Leo Margets raised to 120,000 from the cutoff with A7, and only Stephen Hesse called from the button holding 109.

Margets flopped a pair of aces on the A26 flop and chose to start out with a check. Hesse checked behind to see the 5 appear on the turn. Margets fired 150,000, forcing Hesse to lay his hand down.

Bosman Gives Fukao a Nit Roll

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Yaichi Fukao opened to 120,000 in early position and Hans Bosman three-bet to 330,000 in the hijack. Fukao four-bet shoved all in for 1,705,000 and Bosman asked for a count before sliding in chips to call.

Yaichi Fukao: AQAll in
Hans Bosman: KK

Bosman found himself in a commanding lead and the flop of Q42 was not enough for Fukao to take the lead. The 10 on the turn and the 6 on the river was not enough to help Fukao survive.

Schulze Extends Chip Lead With Cowboys

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sebastian Schulze
Sebastian Schulze

Sebastian Schulze opened KK from middle position and Mounir Tajiou called in the small blind holding AJ. Seungmook Jung also called in the big blind with 97.

They saw a flop of 610J, which checked to Schulze. He threw out a bet of 270,000 with his overpair, and Tajiou called with top pair. Jung did have a gutshot, but didn't want to tangle and folded.

On the 4 turn, Tajiou check-called a bet of 960,000 to see the 5 hit the river. Again Tajiou checked, then Schulze unleashed a bet of 1,800,000. Tajou had 4,400,000 behind and needed a lot of time to think about it before he acted. Eventually, Tajiou did call and mucked when he saw the bad news.

Schulze's stack climbed to well over 15,000,000 after that hand.

Lautaro Guerra
Lautaro Guerra

Rahul Deevara opened to 125,000 from under the gun and Giovanni Pupo three-bet to 360,000 from the next seat. Lautaro Guerra was next to act and three-bet jammed a stack of around 2,100,000.

The player in the next seat, Yong Han, took his time without realizing the action was on him. "Oh, it's on me?!" he said as he then quickly folded as each player behind him followed suit, including Deevara and Pupo.

"Nine-high like a boss," Frank Flowers said.

Kassouf Not Helping English-Irish Relations

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

Englishman Will Kassouf raised from under the gun before Irishman Stephen Kehoe reraised to 630,000 from the button. Kassouf four-bet to 1,760,000 and snap-called when Kehoe moved all in for around 3,300,000.

Stephen Kehoe: KKAll in
Will Kassouf: AA

Kassouf left his seat, imploring the dealer for a clean runout, which is what he got as his aces remained best after the Q863A runout.

"Come on England!" Kassouf repeatedly shouted before offering his GG's to Kehoe.

"Finally on the right side of it," he said before telling the table about the bad beats he suffered nine years ago.

Barker Finds a Two-Outer to Bust Misaka

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Yuto Misaka
Yuto Misaka

Frank Flowers raised to 150,000 under the gun and Yuto Misaka moved all in for 400,000 in early position. Myles Barker then reshoved for 1,000,000 in middle position, and Flowers got out of the way.

Yuto Misaka: AA All in
Myles Barker: KK

Barker had run his kings into Misaka's aces and was about to be forced to hand over a big portion of his stack as the board came J574, but he spiked the K on the river to win the pot and send Misaka to the rail.

Misaka took the horrific beat in stride and graciously wished the table luck before heading for the exit.

Ali Loses Some to Lee

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The A109K turn saw Ihab Ali check-call a bet of 400,000 by Charles Lee and they checked the 4 on the river. Lee announced two pair and Ali nodded "it's good" but he had to show his Q10 first since there was no betting action.

The pot went to Lee, who had flopped two pair with A9.
