2025 World Series of Poker
Chad Power made it 300,000 from the cutoff with 8♦5♦ and only Leo Margets called from the button holding 3♠3♦.
Both players checked the 5♣J♠Q♣ flop for the 7♠ to appear on the turn. Two more checks came and the 8♠ appeared on the river. Power led out for 800,000, and Marget instantly folded.
In a three-bet pot to the 10♥5♥3♠ flop, Joseph Ozimok bet 775,000 out of the big blind. Muhamet Perati on the button raised to 1,925,000 and Ozimok called. They checked the 7♠ on the turn and the 10♣ on the river.
Ozimok flashed Ax3x and mucked them with visible frustration when Perati tabled the 7♣6♣ for superior two pair.
Sebastian Schulze opened to 300,000 in middle position with 9♥9♣ and Johan Schumacher three-bet to 1,350,000 in the big blind with J♣J♦. Schulze called and they went heads-up to a flop of K♦Q♥4♦.
Schumacher led out with a bet of 1,000,000 and Schulze instantly sent his inferior pocket pair into the muck.
A couple of hands later, Schumacher raised to 350,000 on the button with K♥7♥. Adam Hendrix stuck in a three-bet to 1,525,000 with A♥K♣ in the big blind and Schumacher was forced to let his hand go.
Mitchell Hynam opened to 300,000 and Chahn Jung three-bet jammed a stack of around 2,500,000 in the small blind. Hynam quickly called.
Chahn Jung: 6♣6♥
Mitchell Hynam: 8♠8♣
Jung was pipped and nothing changed on the 5♥K♥J♠10♦Q♥ runout to mark his elimination.
Michael Mizrachi led out for 150,000 from the big blind on a flop of 7♣10♣10♠ and Daehyung Lee called in the hijack.
Mizrachi bet another 300,000 on the 9♠ turn and Lee called. The river was the 8♥ and Mizrachi bet 550,000. Lee again called.
"Straight. Do you have a jack?" Mizrachi asked, and Lee turned over A♥J♦ for a higher straight to win the pot.
At the same time at another table, Kohei Arai was all-in for 2,175,000 from the button on a flop of J♦7♥5♥ and Leon Sturm called in the big blind.
Kohei Arai: J♥10♥
Leon Sturm: J♣4♥
Arai was ahead with top pair with a flush draw, and the board ran out 3♠Q♠ as his ten-kicker continued to play to earn him a double up.
Leo Margets raised from middle position with A♠J♠ and only Sejo Kasic called out of the big blind.
After Kasic knuckled the action over to Margets on the 4♣9♥10♣ flop, she fired out 250,000. Kasic quickly check-jammed for 3,975,000, which forced a fold from Margets.
The action was picked up with the turn showing A♦9♦5♦10♣ on which Nick Pupillo checked. Octavian Voegele bet 1,100,000 in the next seat and Pupillo reluctantly called.
Both players checked the Q♣ on the river and Voegele won the pot with the A♥5♥ for flopped top and bottom pair.
Chad Power raised to 300,000 with K♠9♣ from middle position with only Leo Margets calling from the hijack holding 7♥7♣.
Power continued with a bet of 425,000 on the 5♣2♦4♠ flop, and Margets called.
The 9♦ rolled off on the turn and Power bet again, this time for 775,000. Margets mulled it over for a while before choosing to fold and forfeit the pot to Power.
